WoW: Hunter Guide Update

Hunting the Hunter Guide

With several changes affecting the Hunter class with the latest patch,
it was time for an update. In this update Byron "Messiah" Mudry looks
at scare beast, PvP combat, Hunter skills and talents and much more. No
matter what type of Hunter you play the guide has something for you.

Lastly, you can only shoot at opponents in front of
you, so you need to
learn the jump shot ability. A jump shot is usually done with an arcane
shot, and is basically a fast mouse flick and key press. What you do is
run from the enemy (using mouse movement) and then jump in the air.
While in the air you flick the mouse to the side so that you are facing
backwards, then press the button on your keyboard you have mapped for
your arcane shot. Once you shot you flick the mouse back so you are
still running away from your opponent when you land. It can be
difficult to learn but is a critical PvP ability. Whenever concussive
shot is off cooldown, it is also a great shot to use for a jump shot.

WoW: Editorial - Death Knight Takeover?

Invasion of the Death
Knights

There has been much conversation and consternation regarding World of
Warcraft's Death Knights since Blizzard released additional information
about the upcoming class. There are several things players are worried
about but the big three are: Death Knights taking over tanking; Death
Knights taking over PvP; and a mass proliferation of Death Knights in
the game.

In this week's editorial Byron "Messiah" Mudry gives you a run down of
these three main issues, and then provides his take on them and the
Death Knight class in general.

The last of the big discussion points about the Death
Knights is that
there will just be too many of them. This is based on the fact that
Blizzard has said that anyone with a level 55 character will be able to
create a Death Knight that will start at level 55. It is very hard to
argue with the logic that there will be too many of them. This is a
huge issue as I can easily see Death Knights becoming the most numerous
class in the game above level 70.

latest maintenance patch to World of Warcraft. Bugs were fixed, things
were added, and some things were removed. We've also got the updates
that affect you and explained the most important ones in laymen terms
all in one place. We've also got the scoop on some of the undocumented
changes you won't find in the latest patch notes. So don't let the
patch catch you by surprise! Join us as we explore what's been changed
with the introduction of patch 2.4.2.

When a new patch arrives most people want to know
what's changed that
isn't listed. Well 2.4.2 had quite a few undocumented changes that were
just too small to make the list. One of the bigger changes that wasn't
listed was that there are new versions of the Medallion of the
Alliance/Horde. The new versions are not only epic but includes 25 more
resilience.

Distinctions in World of Warcraft - Guide to Titles

Titles of
Distinction

Titles are status symbols within World of Warcraft. Whether it be a PvP
milestone or a PvE objective or accomplishment, titles help distinguish
those few dedicated players from the rest, showing others that that
person had the patience, discipline, luck, or rank to obtain said
title. With this guide, we'll go over which titles were available in
the past, which titles are available to you now, and how you may go
about obtaining them.

Of the Shattered Sun - The most accessible title for
non-pvpers, this
title only requires you to be Exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive,
and paying 1000 gold to complete the quest A Magnanimous Benefactor.
Once you pay the 1000 gold, you will be able to select your "Of the
Shattered Sun" title.

WoW: Remembering Northrend

Sit Right Back
and You'll Hear a Tale...

In World of Warcraft, the continent of Northrend has been associated
with great tragedy, and great conflict in the past. With
the Wrath of the Lich King expansion looming closer, along
with our ability to visit this land many speak of but no one
has actually been in, it is important to know the story about the
conflicts that have happened in this icy continent in the past.

The troops continued pressing on near Draktharon
Keep, where
they met Mal'ganis once more - he came to taunt their foolishness for
coming to Northrend, and surrounded their base with undead troops
before they could do much of anything in their camp. In despair,
Muradin and Arthas took to the mountains with a small detachment of
troops to find the fabled sword, Frostmourne, that could possibly aid
them in defeating Mal'ganis.

WoW: Eye of the Storm Tactics

Battle in the Eye of the
Storm

The Eye of the Storm battleground is a fun and exciting place to fight
it out in the World of Warcraft. It is a very confusing battleground
though, as it combines two different objectives. It's partially a
capture-the-flag game and partially a capture-the-objectives game. Most
players know how to deal with each one separately, however, tie them
together and players lose track of what is most important. So while you
may know the basic rules and understand the idea of how it works, the
tactics and strategies to actually win may elude you. That's where
Byron "Messiah" Mudry steps up the the plate this week, with a new
section for our Eye of the Storm guide that looks at the basic
strategies and tactics that will allow you to win in this unique
battleground.

The basic method to win is to get and hold three
towers for as long as
possible. If you can hold three then you are gaining more points than
they are by 3-1 which far outweighs the points they can earn by
capturing the flag. Luckily many players do not realize this and will
continue to waste their time running the flag instead of attempting to
capture another tower. Count on this and use it to your advantage.
