have been overflowing with questions that Age of Conan fans want
answered. Jason "Athelan" Stone has stepped up as Funcom representative
to answer those very questions. For those of you who like just the meat
and potatoes, we have compiled a list of this week's questions and

As the game gets closer and closer to the launch, our celebrity devs
are getting busier and busier. However, that didn't stop Athelan from
answering nine more community questions right here on our forums. Here
they are in summary:

target="_blank">Kagutsuchi asks style="font-weight: bold;">: "Does release date vary
depending on what country you are from - some
regions say the 20th, others the 23rd? In that case, how will it be
affected by the 3 days pre order ahead start?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "The three
day headstart will happen three days before your regions launch date."

target="_blank">Fyrestryder asks: "Will there be a
variety of group loot options at launch and if so can you give us an
idea of what type we might can expect?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "There are
free for all, need or greed, and round robin etc type looting already
in place in beta."

target="_blank">Kelemvor asks: "My question is
about the player capacity of a single guild. Is there a set limit? style="font-weight: bold;">"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "I am not
aware of any limitations on guild population."

target="_blank">Dopeski asks: "I was just
wondering if AoC will have specific server locations? Such
as East-coast, West-coast, etc or if maybe you'll be using a sort of
"centralized" server and have it right in the middle somewhere? style="font-weight: bold;">"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "There will
be servers in the U.S. based on the East Coast, and then in various
parts of Europe."

target="_blank">Macadami asks style="font-weight: bold;">: "It's been said that you
acquire blood money while pvp'ing in the
Borderlands, and you get your starter amount by paying a 'fare' to
enter on PvE servers. Will a similar system be in place for the FFA PvP
servers or do you have something else in mind?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "As
answered before Blood Money is up in the air as one of the options for
risk and reward systems for PvP."

target="_blank">tutanka asks: "I was wondering if
there is a mount that can hold more than one
character(any you can give a buddy a ride on if he doesnt have a mount?) style="font-weight: bold;">"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "This was
desired at one point in time but we cut this feature for the
time being. Issues with another character effectively being "stuck"
under someone elses control. Targeting passengers, and riders, vs
mounts, if we could allow passengers to perform mounted combat etc."

target="_blank">Kagutsuchi asks: "There is this
rumour going on the official aoc forum that a dev. have
stated that the HoX can only be in the Xotli form for 20 seconds, what
can you say about this?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "It is true
that recently the Herald of Xotli was changed from being in
his form always to a short duration "super buff" this is because
Heralds never got to see their character and their armor and items etc
while being polymorphed. The transformation has much more impact now as
a short duration buff and is quite powerful. It is also on a relatively
short cooldown."

asks: "Will jumping drain stamina/endurance to prevent a
Counter Strike-like PvP experience?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "Jumping as
a substate disallows many actions. This means even though
you can attack on the run I do not believe you can jump and attack.
This limits the usefulness of jumping in combat but I do not believe it
has a stamina cost at this time. It is very easy to add one if we find
we need to for balance purposes."

target="_blank">Johnny asks: "Can you customise
the appearance of your Herald of Xotli's demon form?
style="font-weight: bold;"> If not, are there plans for this
down the track?"

style="font-weight: bold;">Athelan: "It was
designed so different parts of the model/texture could be
swapped out to make it unique. This feature will be coming in post
launch however."
