A few changes have been made to Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa main site. Official game fiction has been moved to the Game Intel section, and a brand new story is up for your reading pleasure. Just don't read it in the dark; for some reason, Children of the Corn comes to mind.

The children that arrived over the next couple of weeks had all survived a nightmare. Some arrived here with a parent and were to remain in my care while their mother or father was sent off to the Front Lines to fight the Bane. But most were orphaned after the Bane attacked.
