In a new post, Cryptic discusses IP (intellectual property) violations within Champions Online. Overall, it's a very reasoned discussion on how they deal with players who create a character that looks exactly like a licensed character that is copyrighted by another company. Sadly, in this sue-happy world, Cryptic has no real choice but to cover their own behinds and make sure that they don't give any reason for some other company to sue them for copyright infringement.
