Grimwell gets all techie on us by explaining the ins and outs of duel cores in EverQuest II.

EQII is set up to recognize dual processors. On PC's that have them, the main game is tied to one of the cores as a primary thing to do, and then the extraneous resources are left free to jump to the other core as needed to enhance process. End result, by tieing the main game to one core only, you don't get weird things like reports of people moving super duper fast, and the secondary things (NPC's, mail boxes, etc.) could load faster because the processes tied to them can take advantage of that second core.

It's always nice to get a explanation on these things, thanks muchly to Grimwell for dumbing it down for us less than brilliant people!
