For as long as Kurn's Tower has been standing in EverQuest II's zone The Fens of Nathsar, players have been wondering when this mysterious landmark would finally open. They now have their answer as game Update #52 says that Kern's Tower will be open soon! What dangers and new things will be found in this exciting new area? SOE has released a preview of the Kurn's Tower storyline and a sneak peek of the new zone.
The doors are still closed, but the Burynai have burrowed up under the tower and breached the fortifications. It seems that when Najena cast her spell to expose the void anchors across Norrath the illusion that masked the Voids affect upon Kurns Tower was destroyed!
The Burynai are now worried for their Haggle Baron, an ancient iksar they worship as their Shinie King. The single group instance of this zone is called Kurn's Tower: Breaching the Void. And you will indeed be breaching the void!
