EverQuest II (EQII) players have a chance at kicking off the New Year in style. Closed beta registration for the Destiny of Velious expansion opened today and players can sign up to help put the new expansion through its paces for launch. Players that are approved for beta access will receive an email on January 3rd or 5th 2011. In order to be accepted for the beta, players will need to have an EQII subscription in good standing and complete the sign up and NDA process. So start 2011 off with a bang and head back to one of the most iconic regions from the first EverQuest.
