EVE Online's HUD has evolved a lot since its launch seven years ago. One element that has managed to remain relatively untouched is the NeoCom, but that is about to change according to CCP Optimal in his latest EVE Online developer blog. The cluttered NeoCom will be replaced with a new NeoCom bar that will run across the bottom and be customizable in size and with what buttons are included as well as button groups. Features will be available at all times on the EVE menu, but the NeoCom will provide a better customization option with its new changes.

So when will of this happen you ask? If all goes as planned, the NeoCom beta feature will debut as part of the main Incursions release on January 18th, 2011.
