OGPlanet has added a new free-to-play MMORPG to its lineup with the launch of N.E.O. Online. Before you dismiss this title as just another in a long line of free-to-play games it does embody a couple of interesting features. Players will have the chance to help determine the fate of each of the game's regions through their actions, which will also be tracked on the chaos meter to help determine the danger of a region. When evil is defeated, the world becomes peaceful and colorful as the meter empties, but should evil prevail and the meter fills, the world takes a much darker turn and appearance, including more powerful monsters. As the meter rises, PvP also become available to layers, who can choose to fight other in one on one, group or guild battles.

As Chaos increases, players will also have the option to fight each other in one on one, group or guild battles. Guilds can also declare war upon rival guilds to determine the ownership of the land, taxing and shaping that region as they see fit. Each battle that's won provides large rewards of fame and money, and potentially specialized titles that boost their stats. Unlike other MMORPGs, some titles can only be held by one player at a time, giving bragging rights to that player. Furthermore, NPC troubadours will also recognize these individual awards and sing your praises (or curses) to all they meet, spreading your character's legend around the world.
