After the less than stellar soft launch of Alganon last December, Quest Online went through a leadership change and some changes to the game's development direction aimed at improving its quality and moving it away from some of the comparisons made to World of Warcraft. Yesterday, Quest Online announced Alganon's official release under the new leadership and the game is currently available for $19.95 through MyAlganon and other digital distribution centers such as Direct2Drive. Alganon's payment model changed from subscription to subscription free back in March, meaning that players only need to buy the client and then they can play for free. The game will generate revenue through microtransactions using the Tribute market.
