The Alganon/Quest Online saga that has been raging for months between David Allen and Derek Smart has finally ended in a legal settlement. The saga began with Allen's dismissal back in February and led to accusations of legal wrongdoing and public bickering between current and former Quest Online employees. Allen eventually filed a suit against Quest Online which was met with a countersuit. In an official announcement from Quest Online earlier today, the Alganon developer stated that it has settled the lawsuit with David Allen by buying out his equity in the company.

Quest Online, LLC, today announced that the lawsuit filed in the Maricopa County Superior Court (Case # CV2010-010391) in June 2010 against previous LLC Manager and Alganon creator, David Allen, has been settled with the purchase of Mr. Allen's equity in the LLC; and that Mr. Allen is no longer associated with Quest Online, LLC.

With the new settlement, this overly drawn out dramatic saga may have finally come to a close.
