Star Trek’s cybernetic bad guys are back with Star Trek Online’s Borg Red Alerts. Cryptic Studios has posted new details about the new in-game content events.

Borg Red Alerts appear randomly throughout the game’s various sectors every hour and Federation and Klingon players will have to meet the threat and maybe even work together to avoid being assimilated. Players of any level (post-tutorial) can take part in the new alerts that function like Fleet Actions with a simple click and earn rewards and Accolades for pushing back the threat.
