General

  • Only Concordia and Torden continents are accessible at this time in order to focus testing on these maps.
  • Improved client performance. Most noticeable gains are on machines with multi-core CPUs.
  • Corrected issue in which players in same party entered different instances of a map when they should be in the same instance.
  • /stuck teleports you to a last known good position that you were located before being stuck. This is new behavior for /stuck and may have a few bugs still to work out in special cases.
  • Added new mission type “Targets of Opportunity” – Players will find as they battle the Bane that Targets of Opportunity (ToO) are revealed. Objectives of ToO Missions will reveal themselves as they arise. Rewards for ToO Missions include special titles for completion. Completing all ToO's on a continent will reward a Clone Credit.
  • There is no more /global. There are 3 “global” channels, all of them behave exactly like /global used to. LFG, General and New Player – typing any of these will send text to ALL players on the server.
  • There are 3 tabs as a default in the client
    • General – displays all text except all global channels (above) and combat
    • Global – ONLY shows the 3 global channels
    • Combat – ONLY shows combat text

      PLEASE NOTE: You can change the behavior of any chat tab by using the chat options button on the lower right of the chat box. You can also change text colors, add more tabs and do all kinds of chat customization via this button.
  • Refined recipes for crafting.

UI Updates

  • Quality levels for equipment are now: “Modified” (green), “Experimental” (blue), and “Prototype” (purple).
  • The "not sellable" and "not tradeable" portion of the tooltips are now displayed in red if trading or vending.
  • Recipe icons now have a different look than regular icons.
  • Operations and boss type NPCs and mobs now have a different target information display.
  • Radar icons are now improved. The default settings for radar and maps now display fewer items.
  • Added global tab to default chat settings.
  • Crafting vendors are now marked with specific icons.
  • Added titles page for ToO mission rewards to the character window.
  • Added voiceover help in Bootcamp.
  • New chokers for female recruits.
  • New colors for various chat messages.
  • Chat channel selector button added back to the lower left of the chat window.
  • Density Field Gun is now named “Leech Gun”.

Skills and Abilities

  • Polymorph's self resurrection now works, weapon and ability drawers should update correctly now.
  • Sprint will now burn adrenaline at an increased rate while you are in combat, the out of combat rate remains unchanged.
  • Insanity will work in PVP now, the faction of the target will match the source's for the duration; effectively crowd controlling them.
  • Players will find themselves shielded from outside attacks when under a Shield Drone's shield.

Game Balance

  • Armor no longer has bleed-through and max absorption per hit; attacks now take as much damage as they can off the armor first, unless the attack is armor piercing.
  • Polarity Guns now have a two-second maximum charge-up time, and their “discharge” once again does damage.
  • Magnesium Flash and other blinding effects should properly adjust the range penalty on damage.
  • The armor decay from death shouldn't make armor go to a negative durability anymore, nor will your armor pool get 'stuck' at 0 until you zone.
  • Armor & Weapon decay rates have been halved.
  • AE Buffs will only affect squad members now, not nearby friendlies.
  • XP share distance between party members has been reduced slightly.
  • The level based damage penalties for a low level player vs. a high level NPC have been removed.
  • Net Guns now root/dot for 4 seconds.
  • Injection guns now dot for 2 seconds.
  • Injection Guns now dot twice per second instead of once per second.
  • Net Guns now dot twice per second instead of once every two seconds.
  • Leech Guns now have less DPS but a much higher leech rate.
  • Leech Guns now feel more responsive: o No longer have a 2-second cooldown after ceasing fire. o Now have a 0.4 second cycle time instead of a 1-second cycle time (they stop firing sooner when you leave off the trigger).
  • Polarity Guns now feel more responsive: o Now have a 0.4 second cycle time instead of a 1-second cycle time (they stop firing sooner when you leave off the trigger)
  • Blades now do the same damage whether you left-click or press F to use them.
  • Torqueshell Pistols have been changed to Torqueshell Rifles, but they still have the pistol art. The incorrect art is a bug.
  • Creatures now tend to “burst fire” against you instead of using their old slow attack rate.
  • All weapons have had adjustments to their damage values for better balance.
  • Most weapons heat up far more slowly than before.
  • Added consumable adrenaline pack.

Creature Updates

  • Added a heal to the Xanx devour ability.
  • Improved Shield Drone AI so that its group tends to stay under its shield.
  • Assorted creature bug fixes. Fixed Issues from last Patch:
  • Lots of bug fixing and polish on all shared maps.
  • Reappearing inventory bug fixed.
  • Corrected issue with Vista OS that crashed the client when logging in with windowed mode.
  • Players should no longer crash in the Palisades Instance: Temple of the Raging Patriarch area.
  • Fixed issue that caused players to charged money when purchasing items from a vendor that would allow them to have over 5000 of that item. The additional items are now put into a new stack in the player's inventory.
  • Fixed issue that caused a client crash when zoning into the world after sitting at the loading screen for a long time.
  • Using the Leech Gun no longer causes the weapon to stop firing or prevent the player to reload or change weapons.
  • If you log a character out while Polymorphed, the client no longer hangs at "Logging out to Character Selection".
  • The Traitor ability now affects NPC's after being cast.
  • Crab mines will now attack a neutral creature that has turned against you.
  • Salvage and Tissue Extraction Tools can now harvest. Known Issues:
  • Radial and Conical Healing Discs are healing self only. This is a bug.
  • Rez Trama Kits I and II may not update the Rez Sickness timer correctly.
  • The Rez Sickness timer will sometimes report the incorrect amount of Rez Sickness time left after multiple deaths.
  • If you complete the portion of the mission Obstruction Destruction that asks you to Blow up the Downed Dropship and then lose connection or log out, when you get back into Boot Camp the detonator acceptor will be floating in midair without anything to blow up.
  • Some enemies when killed do not reward the player with the correct amount of credits.
  • If you have more than 11 members in your clan the clan window does not cause the scroll bar to become active.
  • For the tool tips under the Crafting: Optics skill (Tier 2 soldier) it does not mention that pumping this skill gives you access to the salvage tool.
  • For the Tier 4 ability 'Bot Construction' after a bot is spawned it should follow the player around, but currently does not.
  • If you change your graphic settings to custom and the log out when you log back in your setting will return to high.
  • The Exobiologist ability Hortimonculus is not working as described in the tool tip.
  • The recipe for Class VII Concussion Grenade states that it requires Crafting: Explosives level 1. This item should be listed as a level 3 or 4 crafting level.
  • Craftable grenades of any damage type all do physical damage regardless of intended damage type.
  • Some Logos are not yet placed in the game.
  • The weapon "kgstest" should not be in the game.
  • Some doors do not allow players to enter. This behavior is intermittent.
  • Ranger Reinforcements are not doing melee damage.
  • The Repair Bot does not repair player armor or mechanical units.
  • Several instance areas are offline at this time.
  • Some abilities/actions do not work properly in PvP Duels.
  • Enemies in the Hydro Plant on Concordia Divide will not attack until attacked first.
  • Many Tier 4 abilities or weapons may have bugs, fail to work or not operate as intended.

  • Issue: Players cannot currently destroy the security equipment need for the mission objective and as a consequence cannot complete the mission.
  • Mission: Turn the Tables
  • Issue: Players do not receive credit for killing the named mission mob Arieki Torden Mires
  • Mission: Making Your Way
  • Issue: Mission does not complete when talking to the mission npc and clicking on “Complete”
  • Mission: Little Bit Crazy
  • Issue: Unable to find the correct Lightbenders for the mission objective
  • Mission: House Calls
  • Issue: Mission npc can be killed and will not respawn until the server is reset
  • Mission: Like a Little Kid
  • Issue: Thrax Scavengers are not dropping Bane Locker keys; thus the entire mission cannot be completed
  • Mission: Instant Messaging
  • Issue: Mission does not complete when talking to the mission npc and clicking on “Complete”
  • Mission: Unlockable
  • Issue: Third objective not appearing in mission log, thus making it almost impossible for player to complete the mission

  • Issue: Three of the mission objectives do not have a marker making them very difficult to find
