I want to give shout outs to Spencer Chi of Aeria Games for
ensuring I have access to the Shin
Megami Tensei: Imagine beta and to the friendly members of
the Atlus USA forums who set me straight about some of the inaccuracies
in "Dancing
with Demons" regarding the
style="font-style: italic;">Shin Megami Tensei
(SMT) and Persona
games. The short of it is that Persona is a spinoff of SMT and MegaTen
is pure SMT, taking place between two of the games. It changes nothing:
we should check out this game to see if it is both different and good.
Speaking of nothing changing, the Top Ten stays in the same
order this week. Even, so I have changed the format once again. Now
look for a link to a review for the games that have launched and first
impressions for the games in beta. For those games protected by an NDA,
we have to wait a bit longer.
