Warhammer Online has opened up free server transfer options for players once again that will be followed by the retirement of three more servers. North American players on Iron Rock and Volkmar will have the option to transfer to Gorfang through February 9th, 2011, while European players on Carroburg will have the option to transfer to Drakenwald. After that date, the three servers (Volkmar, Ion Rock and Carroburg) will be locked to new character creations. Three weeks later the servers will be retired. At that time, players can take the free transfer to their respective servers or to a different server via a paid transfer option.

Additionally, players will have their character slots increased to 20 and can have characters on both Destruction and Order sides. Guild leaders will also once again have the option to transfer their entire guild to the new server. The official announcement is available via the Warhammer Online website.
