Happy Holidays to the LOTRO Founders and Lifetime Accounts!

This is a hot thread that came out of nowhere. Turbine has offered its lifetime and founding members a special gift. A free horse to those who were here from the begriming and for those who purchased a lifetime sub so they could be here until the end. With a free gift that was offered by the Dev's, this topic has generated a lot of discussion and not all of it good. This is technically a reward for loyalty, but there are those a little upset that they were not included. In other words, non-founders and non-lifetime members. Patience and Marketroid have dropped in to try and put concerns to rest and ensure those members that they too will have a holiday surprise. Head over and add your opinion to the ever growing list of complaints...er... concerns.

Special Holiday Promotional Pricing!

Another popular holiday special that turned up suddenly offered the founders pricing to members who currently do not have it. This thread answers some of the questions about this special offer and addresses a few concerns. if you have a question or comment about this limited offer, this is the place to for it.

Plea to developers--please change recipe drop %

Ever wonder why so many Tailor recipes drop and the others so few? this thread will provide some insight offered by Avon, one of Turbines developers. While this thread has some useful information, you will need to be wary of the troll post and a slight deviation from the topic at some points. Despite its flaws, this thread still contains some decent information.

Middle Earth Online vs. LOTRO?

Dev's: please enable asian art styles in USA LOTRO clients

Should the Lord of the Rings Online enable Asian art styles for the American servers? Some people think so. Personally, I think it would probably be disastrous mixing the arts, but I could be wrong. Head over and post your thoughts in this ever expanding thread of limitless chatter.
