New Burning Crusade Coverage Page & Outland Map

Autumn is in the air, and we're inching ever closer to the highly anticipated winter 2006 launch of World of Warcraft's first expansion: The Burning Crusade. With that in mind, we've consolidated our Burning Crusade coverage into a single area on the WoW - Ten Ton Hammer site and even thrown in a detailed, easily printable, non-flash version of the Outland map recently released by Blizzard! We have plenty of articles planned for this section, so check back often!

"In World of Warcraft's first retail expansion, the forces of the Burning Legion have returned to wage war upon the races of Azeroth as the mightiest adventurers from the Horde and Alliance journey into the Dark Portal to discover the shattered lands beyond. This highly anticipated expansion will raise the level cap from 60 to 70, see the introduction of two new races (Blood Elves for the Horde, Draenei for the Alliance - with level 1-20 starting areas to match), a huge new continent (Outland, for players level 58-70). We can also look forward to an entirely revamped PvP system, a new crafting profession (jewelcrafting, which cuts gems for the new "slotted" weapons), selectable dungeon difficulty settings for Outland dungeons, hundreds of new monsters, quests, and items, and finally: flying mounts!

At Ten Ton Hammer, we're dedicated to bringing you the latest news on the Burning Crusade. Feel free to bookmark this page and check back often!"
