Bigpoint and Mail.Ru have announced a new long-term partnership to bring titles from each publisher to new markets.

Through the new partnership, Russian players browsing the Mail.Ru gaming portal will find a selection of Bigpoint’s titles that such as DarkOrbit and Battlestar Galactica Online. Likewise, Bigpoint users will find new games on the Bigpoint portal like Legacy of Dragons and Empire Craft. Bigpoint titles added to Mail.Ru’s portal will also be integrated into the Mail.Ru Group’s social networks of Odnoklassniki and My World.

June 14, 2011.Online game providers Bigpoint and Mail.Ru Group have agreed to a long-term partnership. As a result of the contract that was recently signed by both parties, Bigpoint and Mail.Ru Group will soon offer selected partner games on their portals.

Russian-speaking players who log in via Mail.Ru will be able to find popular Bigpoint games including Farmerama, DarkOrbit, Seafight or Battlestar Galactica Online. On the other hand, Bigpoint users will also be able to access award-winning MMORPGs such as Legend Legacy of the Dragons, Juggernaut, Empire Craft, GodsWar Online via bigpoint.com. Bigpoint games won’t only be added to the gaming portal Mail.Ru but they’ll also be integrated into the Mail.Ru Group’s social networks, Odnoklassniki and My World, which are popular in Russian-speaking countries.

By collaborating with each other, both platforms hope to gain access to new target groups. It’s the perfect opportunity for Bigpoint to open its games to a diverse Russian-speaking community and for Mail.Ru Group to benefit from bigpoint.com’s large network of almost 200 million registered users.
