Welcome to this eleventh day of March, 2015.   I’m John “Boomjack” Hoskin and this is Here Comes The Boom – EP #31.

It's Friendly Wednesday.   If only every day was friendly.   Reddit, I'm looking at you!

Here's to being friendly. I personally go for #5 every day, though "a corndog for you and a corndog for you" seems like a brilliant idea.

AWEOME Beta Number One

My friends at Wargaming.net have a fancy new beta coming out tomorrow.   You've probably played World of Tanks and if not, you should give it a try.   I'd like to know what you think of it.  Regardless, World of Warships is hitting closed beta on the 12th (tomorrow).   I'm not a war buff, nor am I a seafaring type, but this game appeals to me.

First things first, you can sign up for the closed beta as follows:

Some important stuff:

  • Five maps
  • 50 U.S. and Japanese warships including aircraft carriers

My only concern is that ships in games always feel unresponsive and slow to me.  How does World of Warships overcome that?

Did anyone get in and try World of Warships on the open beta weekends?

AWESOME beta number two

My friends at my.com (see what I did there?) announced that closed beta for Skyforge will start today!

You can get in by normal means, like signing up and hoping that the RNG Gods smile on your or you can grab a Founder's Pack.

There are three different types of Founder's Packs.

They include the following bonuses.

Will you be checking either of them out?  If not, then what are you playing?  I hit up Heroes of the Storm and Homeworld Remastered yesterday.

If you received even an iota of enjoyment from this then please support both myself and TenTonHammer by doing one of more of the following:

Thanks again.  I appreciate your support.

 Who’s awesome?  You’re awesome!
