There's a part of me that is still incredibly sad about the lack of dungeon content in Guild Wars 2. The current crop are good but they aren't great and there are too few mechanics in them to make them truly exciting. Unlike a dungeon in say, WildStar, Guild Wars 2's are practically pedestrian. Despite the lack of dungeon content in Heart of Thorns, I'm excited for two things at the moment: the Druid and Guild Halls. I think it's fair to say that the home instance is pretty poor and in comparison to housing in other games, it pales in comparison. My hope is that Guild Halls might just offer a whole host of customisation to bring life to guilds and their communities. Whether or not it'll be a robust system that permits you to decorate as you see fit or rotate furniture, I'm not sure. The engine seems pretty limited in what it can and can't do.

Where the Druid is concerned, the ranger has always been my go-to profession and is arguably my main (fully ascended with two legendaries) however, I'm nervous for the specialization reveal. Besides the chronomancer, none have bowled me over so far. They all look good but I think I'm just eagerly anticipating how ArenaNet approach the Druid and the ranger pet. Will Spirits get a complete overhaul? Will the staff revolve around control and be power based? Will we receive some form of group healing? Will the pet finally be able to attack a moving target? There's lots of questions and if the profession isn't quite what I hope, it's going to somewhat sour Heart Of Thorns when it does launch.

What are you most excited about when it comes to Guild Wars 2's first expansion pack?
