Last week was the week we were all waiting for in the World of Warcraft, as Cataclysm was finally released on December 7th. As such many of you were likely too busy rushing around madly trying to find a Collectors Edition, or staying up late to make sure you were the first on the server to reach level 85. No matter what you were doing, you likely missed some of the great content TenTonHammer released last week, so we rounded it all up here for a quick recap.

With so many new things going on in the game one of the most important pieces we published last week was a complete flow chart to the zones and instances in the game. This allows you to very quickly see where you should be at what level. Better yet, if you need to know more about any of the zones or instances you can simply click on the image for it and jump to our guides for that zone.

We also covered Cataclysm Reputations, ways to deal with instances, battleground basics, and ways to avoid overcrowding. In addition we covered the Cataclysm launch in our expectations and survival guide and coverage of the launch event. We also put up a brand new poll asking which is your favourite expansion to WoW so far. While maybe a bit unfair to ask when many people have not even finished Cataclysm yet, it still looks like it is pulling into an early lead in the poll.

As for news, as you can likely guess, it was extremely light. Since the big news was the release of the game itself, Blizzard was extremely quite for the week. In fact the only real news was the release of the new L80ETC song and a new post from Ghostcrawler talking about character stats. My guess is news will continue to be light for another week or two as Blizzard and players continue to adjust to the release of Cataclysm.

Oh and lastly, remember The Overpull is your one stop shop to find out what went on last week, and every week. So if you are not signed up to get this sent straight to your inbox each and every week sign up now!
