John Smedley Talks DC Universe Online Numbers

Posted Mon, Nov 21, 2011 by Martuk

DC Universe Online’s jump from subscription to freemium is continuing to pull in new players according to a few recent tweets from SOE boss John Smedley. In a series of Twitter posts, Smedley stated that the DC Universe Online player base is currently growing 6% a day with a 700% increase in daily revenue (47% PC / 53% PS3). Smedley also notes that more than 85% of the daily log-ins are returning players.

Additionally, Smedley revealed that the two best-selling marketplace items are additional character slots and the Vanguard of the Heavens character skins.

That’s a lot of numbers and certainly good news for DC Universe Online fans.
