Who would have figured that after EverQuest launched in 1999 it would still be going strong even today. The 19th expansion to the EverQuest saga shipped out today with Rain of Fear, a continuation of the storyline that began with the House of Thule and Veil of Alaris expansions that tasks players with gaining control of the essence of fear and restoring balance to Norrath.
But that’s enough about the story. Rain of Fear also includes a level cap boost to 100, new zones, a new Collection system, an Aggro Meter, additional customization options and more.

SAN DIEGO - Nov. 28, 2012 - Sony Online Entertainment, LLC (SOE) today released the 19th expansion for the groundbreaking massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), EverQuest®: Rain of Fear™.
Continuing the storyline from House of Thule and Veil of Alaris, players have released the stolen power of Fear. It's up to the players as they travel across the world to gather these shards, battle new and familiar foes and reclaim the power of fear.
The new Rain of Fear expansion raises the game's level cap to 100, adds new zones, raids, missions, quests, spells, items, and new tradeskill recipes. It also introduces a new Slayer System, Aggro Meter, and Collection System, along with an improved brokering system that enables offline selling.
