EverQuest II Reopens the Chronoportals to the Past

Posted Wed, Mar 21, 2012 by Martuk

Take a portal from EverQuest II into a time long ago as the Chronoportals reopen and allow players to travel back in time to experience Norrath’s nostalgic past. SOE has reopened the Chronoportals as part of the 13th anniversary celebration of the original EverQuest.  From now through March 28th, you can take a step back in time to experience some humorous and nostalgic nods to Norrath’s past.

The EQII Team has created this fun event as an homage to EverQuest in honor of the anniversary of the EverQuest franchise, and although the lore doesn't exactly fit the current story of EQII, they decided to make it extra enjoyable for those who were around for the first iteration of Norrath. Adventurers who take part in this journey through time will find some silly nods to EQ and moments of nostalgia as we reminisce about our heritage.
