Sony Online Entertainment is targeting early December for a full free-to-play launch for EverQuest II, but players can now pre-order their copy of the game’s latest expansion, Age of Discovery, in one of two flavors that will likely arrive a little earlier than the free-to-play switch.

The Standard Edition is the cheaper version and comes with the basic game and expansion, a Cloak of the Truespirit, and a Dungeon Maker Unique Monster Spawner #1 at the cost of $39.99.

If you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, EverQuest II: Age of Discovery is also available in a Digital Collector’s Edition, which includes the expansion and base game, a Cloak of the Truespirit, Dungeon Maker Unique Monster Spawner #1, Dungeon Maker Unique Monster Spawner #2, Armored Flying Pegasus Mount, Unique Beastlord Warder Pet, Lavastorm Prestige Home, Custom Dungeon Maker Map Layout, and a Robe of the True Spirit at the cost of $89.99.

According to EverQuest II Executive Producer David Georgeson, Age of Discovery in less than a the next month.
