2011 was a rather chaotic year for EVE Online and some things got moved around in all the turmoil following the refocusing efforts of CCP. One of those things was the promised new Neocom, which got pushed back a bit to allow work on other things to proceed. But the Neocom is making its way to Tranquility server later this month as part of the Crucible 1.1 update according to a new dev blog.

The new Neocom system has undergone some changes since its original announcement. One of the more notable being that it will only be available in vertical form on the left or right side of the screen. Expect to see a top and bottom option added later. Check out what’s new in the latest EVE Online dev blog.
