For a limited time, CCP is granting all new EVE Online accounts a free a free Cerebral Accelerator implant, which will enhance the speed at which a new pilot can develop skills and rapidly absorb information. The new implant wont last forever though.
The only drawback to this implant is that capsuleer training renders it ineffective after a while; as such, it will cease to function for pilots who have been registered for more than 35 days.
Additionally, players can also receive a rare EVE ship for a limited time by inviting friends to play that choose to upgrade their account through the Buddy Program.
