    During EVE FanFest 2007, CCP invited the leaders of several significant corporations and alliances to speak to their history, purpose, and objectives, then field questions from the audience. While this Alliance panel proved to be an interesting look into EVE Online's culture (and we'll be airing all six presentations over the course of this week), no presentation was more memorable than this one from Goonfleet.

  • Expanding EVE (No Fat Jokes, Please!)

    During Nathan "Oveur" Richardsson's overview of the upcoming expansion dubbed Trinity, fans got to see the new trailer for the first time.   • Mac and Linux Users Rejoice!

    During Hilmar Petursson's keynote speech on Saturday, CCP's CEO and Transgaming President and CEO Vikas Gupta announced the release date and feature set of the EVE Online client for Mac and Linux. CCP isn't known for to hold back when an innovative new release is ready, and so it goes that Transgaming's cross-OS client will make its debut within the week.

  • Who says EVE gamers are heartless?

    CCP partnered with the Child's Play charity to raise funds for disadvantaged kids during this year's FanFest via a silent auction. Prizes auctioned off included a number of signed prints from the game and a lifetime subscription to EVE Online, and the auction proceeds exceeded $7,000 during the three day event attended by over 1,200 gamers.

    Announced during Nathan Richardsson's talk on the upcoming EVE expansion dubbed Trinity and CCP CEO Hilmar Petursson's keynote, the Mac OSX and Linux client for the game will go live next Tuesday. Additionally, EVE's premium voice chat service will soon be free for everyone.
