This month’s update for Fallen Earth shifts gears from fixing bugs to new features. In the latest update, the team reveals one of the newest features soon to be making its way to the wastelands – Farms. The new feature aims to allow players to craft their own farms with 3, 6 or 9 plots in locations throughout the world. Farms can then be used to plant seeds for organic components or to raise animals. Harvesting the components will then give an option to gain a common, uncommon or rare component for other things. Farms in higher risk areas may run the risk of a little PvP invasion in some cases but with greater risk comes the greater chance for rewards.

Players will be able to use crafted, dropped, or purchased items to extend the longevity of their farms, speed up the growth of their resources, or improve their chances of getting a rare component. Additionally, placing a farm in a higher risk area such as a PVP zone can improve the yield of harvested resources.

If all this sounds a little too Farmville for you, there will also be a number of tweaks to skills and mutations along with a number of fixes and the new stage 3 coresuit recipes.
