Last year, more than 40,000 fans flocked to Seoul’s World Cup stadium to watch the League of Legends World Championship. That is nearly three times as many people who recently saw tennis betting favourite Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final.

Chen “Hao” Zhihao - $1,249,642.81

The Vici Gaming starlet is the most successful player in e-Sports having amassed total earnings of nearly $1.25 million. Widely regarded as one of the most aggressive players in the industry, General Hao has won on numerous occasions. In 2015, he won both the VPGame Pro League and the Star Ladder Star Series Season 12 as well as finishing second in the Dota 2 Champions League and the i-league season 3.
