New character models are coming in Warlords of Draenor and they look pretty great. They are everything we wanted them to be; more detailed, better looking, and no longer emotionless. The new character models have made fans squeal with glee...at least for the most part.

You see, most of us assumed that just because they were new character models, they would automatically look stupendous. However, it seems we have once again learned a lesson on what happens when one allows themselves to assume things. While most of the new character models have been a pleasure to behold, there were several that made us all cringe in horror.

Which of these models are the worst? It is hard to pick just one, so we have compiled a list of the top 5 worst looking new character models in World of Warcraft. Enjoy!

Human Female

Human females have always been pretty good looking, at least in this writer's opinion. That is, until now. With the new model update, Human female have gone from rather good looking, to downright creepy. The hair is flat and less lustrous and the beloved curves of this character seem to have been drastically reduced.

To make matters worse, the Human female's face is downright scary. A combination of a sleep deprived mother and the hollowed out look of a heroin addict, it isn't very pretty to look at. All of these reasons put together earn the Human female a firm place on the list of the top 5 worst character model revamps.

Dwarf Female

If the eyes are the window to the soul, then the new Dwarf female character model is a demon. Two wide and seeming always on the verge of excitement, or maybe panic, the Dwarf female face has gone through some drastic changes. However, the downfall of this character model doesn't end here.

I have always enjoyed the Dwarves, especially the females, because they were different from most of the other female characters in game. Pretty, short, and almost plump Dwarven females seemed apart from the typical overly done stuff seen in the other races. The new character model changes all of that. While still Dwarven in appearance, the new models have made Dwarf females skinner, taller, and more standard version of “attractive”. Thus, losing much of the appeal they had pre-revamp and landing them a spot on this list.

Undead Male

Undead of both genders have never been pretty to look at. They aren't supposed to be. I mean, they are giant piles of walking bone and skin. Horrors. So, it stands to reason that they couldn't possibly look worse, right? Wrong.

Looking at the Undead male model brings whole new meaning to the word weird. While I can't put my finger on it, something just looks.....not right. I don't know if it is the oddly jutting bones or something else. What I do know is that the initial artwork did not translate well into the actual game.

Undead Female

Could both Undead models really make the list? Yes they could! The Undead female is just like the Undead male, there is clearly something wrong here. While we do understand a walking zombie is going to look a little odd, this goes far beyond that. Once again, we can't quite put our finger on what is wrong here, just that something is out of place. Perhaps a little to far in the direction of bride of Frankenstein?

Orc Female

Last on our list is the Orc female and she barely makes it. Overall, this model is pretty well done. It stays true to the image of the Orcs most players have in their heads. Strong, battle-ready, not exactly your typical version of beautiful. However, in one spot does the model go bad; the nose.

This unfortunate feature makes our battle-hardened Orc female look slightly ridiculous. While it may seem like a small thing, it is enough to make us forget about the finer points of this model. Making the Orc female look a bit like a grunting pig, this is one body part that is enough to land this character model on the “worst” list.

That wraps up our list of the top 5 worst looking new character models. At least until the next set are released! Do any of our picks make your own personal list? Which models do you think the developers need to go back to the drawing board on? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!
