Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 Rebranded as FFXIV: A Realm Reborn

Square Enix has put together some new goodies to help promote the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the update formerly known as FFXIV 2.0. The newly launched website includes new details about the update and a brand new trailer, which you can check out via embed below.

“Since announcing our plans for the future of the title last October, we have been working tirelessly to include all of the elements that we have promised in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. This new title not only becomes a symbol of a completely new FINAL FANTASY XIV, but also marks the beginning of a new stage as the latest title in the FINAL FANTASY series. I hope you’re looking forward to it, said FFXIV Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida.”

Currently there is no release date set for the update short of a "coming soon" at the end of the video. Visit the new FFXIV: A Realm Reborn website to learn more about what lies ahead for FFXIV.

If they have not learned up to now that there is no way to make good console AND AT SAME TIME good PC game ... they never will.

Oh boy, if only trailers were a true demonstration of how awesome a game really! If the new Final Fantasy game itself is anywhere near as epic or cool as this trailer is then I'd say it's more then worth purchasing
