Final Fantasy XIV Free Play Ends and Subscription Billing Starts Tomorrow

Posted Thu, Jan 05, 2012 by Martuk

Tomorrow will mark the end of the rather lengthy extended free trial period for Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV).  Fans that wish to keep playing after tomorrow will have to have a valid subscription for the game. Anyone that has not selected a subscription option by today will have their services temporarily suspended until they do.

Square Enix announced in December that billing would commence this month. Discounted prices are available for subscribers until the release of the upcoming FFXIV 2.0 update.
