Lightning Strikes in Final Fantasy XIV November 14th

Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns (FFXIII) collides with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (FFXIV) tomorrow when Lightning arrives in Eorzea for a four-chapter crossover event. During the event, players will have a chance to experience fight alongside the popular Final Fantasy character, experience new story, and earn new rewards and additional hairstyles modeled after items from FFXIII that will be added with update 2.1.

The first of the four chapter FATE (Full Active Time Event) event will begin on Thursday, November 14th, 2013 at 12AM PT with Chapter 1: For the Winsome. The remaining three chapters will open up every following two days.

  • Chapter 1: From Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. (PST)
  • Chapter 2: From Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. (PST)
  • Chapter 3: From Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. (PST)
  • Chapter 4: From Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. (PST)

The event will run through December 9th, 2013. At that time it will conclude and the new missions will go away, so get what you want while you can. In the meantime, you can read a full briefing of the new missions along with maps and locations on the FFXIV website.
