Fortune Online didn’t seem to have enough fortune to remain online. Gazillion Entertainment recently announced that the free-to-play RPG would be shutting down on February 29th. In a Gamasutra newsbrief, the publisher stated that “by shutting down Fortune Online it hopes to refocus its development on creating new content for Marvel Super Hero Squad Online and developing the upcoming MMO Marvel Heroes.”

The announcement on the official Fortune Online website also noted that anyone that has made a purchase in the game will receive a full refund.
