Copernicus is the code name for an MMOG that is in development by 38 Studios, the development studio founded by Todd McFarlane, Bob Salvatore, and Curt Schilling. Not much is known about this game, as 38 Studios is keeping it under wraps. The studio did license the use of BigWorld to help build the world for the game.
On May 24th, 2012 it was reported that 38 Studios laid off its entire staff following financial troubles. For now, the fate of Copernicus is unknown.
