Assassin Combat Abilities

Quick Strike

A quick attack that deals medium damage and does
slashing damage over time

Stealth

Allows the predator to move undetected and detect
invisible creatures

Ambush

A stealthed attack that deals great damage.  It can
only be used while in stealth

Gash

A penetrating attack that deals significant damage over
time.  If untreated, it deals additional damage when the effect
expires

Double Blast

Two precise ranged attacks. If one of these attacks
misses, the successive ones will miss automatically.  This requires a
ranged weapon

4

Cheap Shot

Briefly stuns the target on a successful hit.  This
stun effect has a shorter duration on more difficult opponents

5

Shrouded Attack

An attack made from the side that deals moderate damage
and stealths the assassin

6

Evade

Reduces the target's hate towards the scout

7

Spikes

Severely decreases target's resistance poison and slows
target's movement speed for a short time.  The slow effect has a
chance to break each time the target is attacked

Fast Strike

A quick attack that deals medium damage and does
slashing damage over time

Torture

Decreases target's defense and trauma resistance

Assail

A stealthed attack that deals great damage.  It can
only be used while in stealth

Shadow Blade

A deadly attack that deals very high damage.  It
can only be used behind or on the side of the target while in stealth

Shadows

Reduces the amount of hate that the assassin accumulates
in combat and transfers it to an ally

Bleed

A penetrating attack that deals significant damage over
time.  If untreated, it deals additional damage when the effect
expires

Impale

Deals medium damage and causes the target to bleed,
dealing additional piercing damage over time

Villainy

Increases agility and combat attack damage of the
assassin

Stalk

Lowers target's hate towards the predator and places the
predator into stealth

Pierce

A quick attack that deals medium damage and does
slashing damage over time

Shadow Shot

A ranged attack that deals very high damage from
behind.  It requires a ranged weapon

16

Open Shot

Two precise ranged attacks.  If one of these
attacks misses, the successive ones will miss automatically.  This
requires a ranged weapon

Stance: Blade Flurry

Grants the assassin a chance to strike for an additional
attack with each successful melee hit and increases the offensive combat
skills, at the cost of decreased defense

Divert

Reduces the target's hate towards the scout

Stance: Deft Defense

Increases defense, parry, and agility while reducing the
offensive melee skills and combat attack damage of the assassin

Shrouded Strike

An attack made from the side that deals moderate damage
and stealths the assassin

Surprise

A powerful stealthed attack that strikes nearby enemies
in front of the assassin

Cut Throat
A stealthed attack that stifles the target on a successful hit. Epic targets have extra resistance to the stifle effect. The assassin must be stealthed to use this ability.

Assassin's Mark
Creates an extremely vulnerable point on the target. If any melee attacks strike that point, the target takes agonizing piercing damage

Poisoner's Blade
A stealthed attack that deals great damage. It can only be used while in stealth.

Slip Away
An out of combat stealth that grants a higher movement rate than other stealth abilities. This stealthing ability doesn't require a casting time.

Vex

Insidious Cut

Hidden Assault
A stealthed attack that strikes all nearby enemies surrounding the assassin. It inflicts additional piercing damage over time on anyone that it hits. The assassin must be stealthed to use this ability.

Cloaked Barb
A ranged attack that deals very high damage from behind. It requires a ranged weapon.

Cut

Makeshift Weapon
A ranged attack, requiring the Assassin to be behind or flanking the target, that does Piercing damage to the target. Does not require ammo

Blade Frenzy
Grants the assassin a chance to strike for an additional attack with each successful melee hit and increases offensive combat skills, at the cost of decreased defense and parry skill. This is the assasin's primary offensive stance

Lethal Resolve
Increases defense, parry, and agility while reducing the offensive melee skills and combat attack damage of the assassin. This is the assassin's primary defensive stance

Numbing Strike
An attack that roots the target on successful hit.

Exposed Attack

Improvised Weapon
A ranged attack, requiring the Assassin to be behind or flanking the target, that does Piercing damage to the target. Does not require ammo

Blade Storm
Grants the assassin a chance to strike for an additional attack with each successful melee hit and increases offensive combat skills, at the cost of decreased defense and parry skill. This is the assasin's primary offensive stance

Creeping Impetus
Increases defense, parry, and agility while reducing the offensive melee skills and combat attack damage of the assassin. This is the assassin's primary defensive stance

Mask of Night

Massacre

Assassinate is the most lethal stealthed attack in the assassin's arsenal.

Apply Poison
Applies a poison on an ally's weapon. This ability can only be maintained on a single ally at a time, and that ally must not already be capable of using poisons

A ranged attack that deals very high damage from behind. It requires a ranged weapon.

Contrived Weapon
A ranged attack, requiring the Assassin to be behind or flanking the target, that does Piercing damage to the target. Does not require ammo

Increases defense, parry, and agility while reducing the offensive melee skills and combat attack damage of the assassin. This is the assassin's primary defensive stance

Malignant Mark

Creates an extremely vulnerable point on the target. If
any melee attacks strike this point, the target takes agonizing piercing
for up to 5 attacks

Jugular

A stealthed attack that stifles the target on a
successful hit.  Epic targets have extra resistance to the stifle
effect.  The assassin must be stealthed to use this ability

Puncture Blade

A stealthed attack that deals great damage.  It can
only be used while in stealth

Constriction

Decreases the target's defense and trauma resistance

Exacting

For a short duration, all of the assassin's attack-based
combat arts that have a reuse time of under 1 minute have their base
damage increased and re-use timer lowered.

Enmesh

Severely decreases target's resistance to poison and
slows target's movement speed for a short time.  The slow effect has
a chance to break each time the target is attacked

Eviscerate

A deadly attack that deals very high damage.  It
can only be used behind or on the side of the target while in stealth

Killing Blade

Launches an attack that deals extreme damage. 
Assassins must be in stealth to perform this combat art

Deadly Focus

Increases the combat attack damage and melee offensive
skills of the assassin

Neck Shot

A ranged attack for the head that deals great
damage.  A ranged weapon is required and this must be preformed to
the side or behind the target

Flowing Wound

A penetrating attack that deals significant damage over
time.  If untreated, it deals addition damage when the effect expires

dealing additional piercing damage over time

Fiendish Villainy

Increases agility and combat attack damage of the
assassin

Cloaked Assault

A stealthed attack that strikes all nearby enemies
surrounding the assassin.  It inflicts additional piercing damage
over time on anyone that it hits.  The assassin must be stealthed to
use this ability

The most lethal stealthed attack in the assassin arsenal

Velium Strike
An attack that roots on successful hit.  Subsequent
attacks have a small chance at breaking the root effect.

Death Mark
Creates an extremely vulnerable point on the target.
If any melee attacks strike that point, the target takes agonizing
piercing for up to 5 attacks.

Deadly Impale
Deals medium damage and causes the target to bleed,
dealing additional piercing damage over time.

Villain
Increases agility and combat attack damage of the
assassin.

Execute
The most lethal stealthed attack in the assassin's
arsenal.

Fatal Followup
This attack can only be used after a combat art
strike that required stealth.  The damage of Fatal Followup increases
for each stealth attack that was executed in the previous 10 seconds of
combat.
