The Swashbuckler is a bravo who's skill with two weapon fighting is
very high and very deadly. A mobile fighter, the bravo moves
rapidly around the battlefield, flanking when possible, using diplomacy
when drawing too much attention, and ducking in for whirlwind attacks
upon large groups of opponents when it is a good idea to do so.
The swashbuckler can devestate opponents with a series of attacks from
their two weapon fighting ability, but they also can trip opponents
moderately well, useful for gettin away in a fight. Defensively
they are not horrible for a skilled player. With
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=450">mobility,
using a +5 mithril breastplate, they have an armor class of 35 before
adding any deflection bonus, or bonus from other sources.
However, the swashbuckler is a poor stand up fighter. With the
need to constantly be moving, they are much more effective working
around someone who is defensively oriented, allowing aggression to go
to that person while they instead "work the crowd".
