Talents - Introduction

There is a turning point in every classes life where it is time for them to start deciding on what alternate path in development they want to follow to make there class the most affective in there role. These paths are called Talents.

Talents themselves are introduced to the player once they reach level 10. This allows the player better them selves by putting points to skills that will enhance healing done, allow spells to do more damage or save mana, and also give you access to certain spells or abilities that you are unable to train any other way.

Talents - Choosing a Path

Each class has a total of 3 separate Talent trees that they will be able to follow. Some may choose to put points in one tree and become the master of those talents. Some may also choose to put points into all 3 trees to make themselves stand out.

What ever path you choose is up to you but keep in mind every class only gets a Total of 51 talent points to spend. 1 point is given to you at once you hit level 10 and then you receive 1 point per level after that leading to a total of 51.

Some trees will take the entire 51 points to master, some may take more or less, so choose your path wisely and pick the talents that benefit you and match your play style.

Talents - Re-Selecting your path!

So you have decided to follow the a talent path and found out it's not the one for you? Have no fear because you are never stuck after you have chosen your talents.

By seeking your trainer at anytime after you have chosen your talents you are able to do what they call a "Re-Spec" of your talents. What this does is for a price, you can have the trainer give you back all of your spent talent points, and re-use them somewhere else.

Everytime you "re-spec" your talents you will be charged a fee. Here is a rough idea on what the costs will be:

First re-spec - 1 Gold

Second re-spec - 5 Gold

Third Re-spec - 10 Gold

Forth Re-spec - 15 Gold

Each time you "re-spec" your talents the price continues to climb. Although it's a nice option it can become quite expensive to do this more then a few times. It maxes out at 50 gold per respec and falls back 5 gold every month that you have not respecced. A list of Talents have been included below to try to make it easier for you to follow the correct path.

Balance Mastery

Nature's Grasp 1 0 10 While active, any time an enemy strikes the caster they have a 35% chance to become afflicted by Entangling Roots (Rank 1). Only useable outdoors. 1 charge. Lasts 45 sec.
Improved Nature's Grasp 4 Requires 1 point(s) in Nature's Grasp 10 Increases the chance for your Nature's Grasp to entangle an enemy by 15%-65%
Improved Entangling Roots 3 Requires 5 points in Balance Mastery 15 Gives you a 40% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting Entangling Roots.
Improved Moonfire 5 Requires 5 points in Balance Mastery 15 Increases the damage and critical strike chance of your Moonfire spell by 2%.
Natural Weapons 5 Requires 5 points in Balance Mastery 15 Increases the damage you deal with physical attacks in all forms by 2%.
Natural Shapeshifter 3 Requires 5 points in Balance Mastery 15 Reduces the mana cost of shapeshifting by 10%
Improved Thorns 3 Requires 10 points in Balance Mastery 20 Increases damage caused by your Thorns spell by 25%.
Omen of Clarity 1 Requires 5 points in Natural Weapons and
Requires 10 points in Balance Mastery
20 Imbues the Druid with natural energy. Each of the druid's melee attacks has a chance of causing the caster to enter a Clearcasting state. The Clearcasting state reduces the Mana, Rage or Energy cost of your next damage or healing spell or offensive ability by 100%. Lasts 5 min.
Nature's Reach 2 Requires 10 points in Balance Mastery 20 Increases the range of your Wrath, Entangling Roots, Faerie Fire, Moonfire, Starfire, and Hurricane spells by 10%.
Vengeance 5 Requires 5 points in Improved Moonfire and
Requires 15 points in Balance Mastery
25 Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Starfire, Moonfire, and Wrath spells by 20%.
Improved Starfire 5 Requires 15 points in Balance Mastery 25 Reduces the cast time of Starfire by .1 sec and has a 3% chance to stun the target for 3 sec.
Nature's Grace 1 Requires 20 points in Balance Mastery 30 All spell criticals grace you with a blessing of nature, reducing the casting time of your next spell by 0.5 sec.
Moonglow 3 Requires 20 points in Balance Mastery 30 Reduces the Mana cost of your Moonfire, Starfire, Wrath, Healing Touch, Regrowth and Rejuvenation spells by 3%.
Moonfury 5 Requires 1 points in Nature's Grace and
Requires 25 points in Balance Mastery
35 Increases the damage done by your Starfire, Moonfire and Wrath spells by 2%.
Moonkin Form 1 Requires 30 points in Balance Mastery 40 Transforms the druid into Moonkin Form. While in this form armor is increased by 360% and all party members within 30 yards have their spell critical chance increased by 3%. The Moonkin can only cast Balance spells while shapeshifted.

The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.

Feral Combat Mastery

Ferocity 5 0 10 Reduces the cost of your Maul, Swipe, Claw, and Rake abilities by 1 Rage or Energy.
Feral Aggression 5 0 10 Increases the Attack Power reduction of your Demoralizing Roar by 8% and the damage caused by your Ferocious Bite by 3%.
Feral Instinct 5 Requires 5 points in Feral Combat Mastery 15 Increases threat caused in Bear and Dire Bear Form by 3% and reduces the chance enemies have to detect you while Prowling.
Brutal Impact 2 Requires 5 points in Feral Combat Mastery 15
Increases the stun duration of your Bash and Pounce abilities by 0.5 sec.
Thick Hide 5 Requires 5 points in Feral Combat Mastery 15 Increases your Armor contribution from items by 2%.
Feline Swiftness 2 Requires 10 points in Feral Combat Mastery 20 Increases your movement speed by 15% while outdoors in Cat Form and increases your chance to dodge while in Cat Form by 2%.
Feral Charge 1 Requires 10 points in Feral Combat Mastery 20 Requires Bear Form, Dire Bear Form

Causes you to charge an enemy, immobilizing and interrupting any spell being cast for 4 sec.
Sharpened Claws 3 Requires 10 points in Feral Combat Mastery 20 Increases your critical strike chance while in Bear, Dire Bear or Cat Form by 2%.
Improved Shred 2 Requires 15 points in Feral Combat Mastery 25 Reduces the Energy cost of your Shred ability by 6.
Predatory Strikes 3 Requires 15 points in Feral Combat Mastery 25 Increases your Attack Power in Cat, Bear and Dire Bear Forms by 50% of your level.
Blood Frenzy 2 Requires 3 points in Sharpened Claws and
Requires 15 points in Feral Combat Mastery
25 Your critical strikes from Cat Form abilities that add combo points have a 50% chance to add an additional combo point.
Primal Fury 2 Requires 3 points in Sharpened Claws and
Requires 15 points in Feral Combat Mastery
25 Gives you a 50% chance to gain an additional 5 Rage anytime you get a critical strike while in Bear and Dire Bear Form.
Savage Fury 2 Requires 20 points in Feral Combat Mastery 30 Increases the damage caused by your Claw, Rake, Maul and Swipe abilities by 10%.
Faerie Fire (Feral) 1 Requires 20 points in Feral Combat Mastery 30 Requires Cat Form, Bear Form, Dire Bear Form

Decrease the armor of the target by 175 for 40 sec. While affected, the target cannot stealth or turn invisible.
Heart of the Wild 5 Requires 3 points in Predatory Strikes and
Requires 25 points in Feral Combat Mastery
35 Increases your Intellect by 4%. In addition, while in Bear or Dire Bear Form your Stamina is increased by 4% and while in Cat Form your Strength is increased by 4%.
Leader of the Pack 1 Requires 30 points in Feral Combat Mastery 40 While in Cat, Bear or Dire Bear Form, the Leader of the Pack increases ranged and melee critical chance of all party members within 45 yards by 3%.

Restoration Mastery

Improved Mark of the Wild 5 0 10 Increases the effects of your Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild spells by 7%.
Furor 5 0 10 Gives you a 20% chance to gain 10 Rage when you shapeshift into Bear and Dire Bear Form or 40 Energy when you shapeshift into Cat Form.
Improved Healing Touch 5 Requires 5 points in Restoration Mastery 15 Reduces the cast time of your Healing Touch spell by 0.1 sec.
Nature's Focus 5 Requires 5 points in Restoration Mastery 15 Gives you a 14% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting the Healing Touch, Regrowth and Tranquility spells.
Improved Enrage 2 Requires 5 points in Restoration Mastery 15 The Enrage ability now instantly generates 5 Rage
Reflection 3 Requires 10 points in Restoration Mastery 20 Allows 5% of your Mana regeneration to continue while casting
Insect Swarm 1 Requires 10 points in Restoration Mastery 20 The enemy target is swarmed by insects, decreasing their chance to hit by 2% and causing 66 Nature damage over 12 sec.
Subtlety 5 Requires 10 points in Restoration Mastery 20 Reduces the threat generated by your Healing spells by 4%.
Tranquil Spirit 5 Requires 15 points in Restoration Mastery 25 Reduces the mana cost of your Healing Touch and Tranquility spells by 2%.
Improved Rejuvenation 5 Requires 15 points in Restoration Mastery 25 Increases the effect of your Rejuvenation spell by 5%.
Nature's Swiftness 1 Requires 5 points in Improved Healing Touch and
Requires 20 points in Restoration Mastery
30 When activated, your next Nature spell becomes an instant cast spell.
Gift of Nature 5 Requires 1 points in Insect Swarm and
Requires 20 points in Restoration Mastery
30 Increases the effect of all healing spells by 2%
Improved Tranquility 2 Requires 20 points in Restoration Mastery 30 Reduces threat caused by Tranquility by 40%
Improved Regrowth 5 Requires 25 points in Restoration Mastery 35 Increases the critical effect chance of your Regrowth spell by 10%.
Innervate 1 Requires 5 points in Tranquil Spirit and
Requires 30 points in Restoration Mastery
40 Increases the target's Mana regeneration by 400% and allows 100% of the target's Mana regeneration to continue while casting. Lasts 20 sec.
