The quest to gain access to the Eloh Vale Instance is the major mission line in Palisades. The holographic map you found at the end of Caves of Donn gave you a sneak peak to the layout of Eloh Vale, and proved the importance this area holds to the Eloh. The Foreans hold the area sacred, and are reluctant to reveal what they know until you have proven your worth. AFS Command believes many as yet unknown Eloh technologies are held here, and they suspect the Bane know it too. The location of Eloh Vale is hidden, and you're in a race with the enemy to piece all the clues together.

 

Pieces of the Puzzle

Your Eloh Vale access quest begins with Base Cmdr. Matlin in Cumbria Research Facility at
-514,142,722. She reminds you that it's an AFS top priority to get the location of Eloh Vale. This 3 part series involves the Wardens of Eloh Temples in Palisades, Commander Jayjack in Divide Foreas Base, and Lt. Cisco in Divide's Torcastra Prison.

Temple Investigations

This mission begins with Cpt. Myles in Cumbria Research Facility, at -507,142,699. The Forean Temples are strategic in the war efforts. He directs you down south to Field Lt. Brody at the Walk of Giants waypoint, -571,185,171. You learn the Temple Wardens don't trust the AFS enough to let us inside. Everybody loves a gift of flowers, so pick a few around the tree at -605,201,110. Warden Brocail guards the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch at -705,186,51. He thinks dying flowers are a waste of life, but he appreciates the gesture, and rewards you with 1800 credits and choice of Class 3 Fragmentation Grenade, Class 3 Standard Med Pack or Class 3 Res Trauma Kit.

Proving Commitment

This mission requires completion of Temple Investigations which begins with Cpt. Myles in Cumbria Research Facility at -507,142, 699. This is the access mission for entrance to the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch Instance, the first of 3 temples. After tossing away your “dying flowers,” Warden Brocail at the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch at -705,186,51 wants you to demonstrate your prowess in battle and commitment to helping others.

Throw me the Idol,
I throw you the whip!

Travel northeast to Lake Elinor and find Watchman Hillenmeyer in a small camp at 324,128,604. They're short handed, and need you to kill some Bane at the nearby Eloh statues. Head to 242,145,787 and take out some of the small groups of Bane (when the coast is clear, pick up Logos: Ground here). Run back to Hillenmeyer for your reward of 1800 credits, and choice of Class 3 Concussion Grenade, Class 3 EMP Bomb, or Class 3 Fragmentation Grenade. He also points you to Scientist Ramirez and Information Specialist Nye for more help.

Emergency Extraction

This mission requires completion of Proving Commitment, which begins with Warden Brocail at the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch at -705,186,51. Scientist Ramirez at 342,129,611 tells you that a scientist has gone missing out at the lake. Bring her back safely! She waits just down the slope at 457,111,567, tapping her foot and complaining. Watch for roaming warnets, and return her quickly to Scientist Ramirez for your reward of 2700 credits, and choice of Pulsar Hazmat Armor, Eclipse Chaingun, or Prodigy Bio Armor Gloves.

Recover Equipment

This mission requires completion of Proving Commitment, which begins with Warden Brocail at the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch at -705,186,51. Information Spec. Nye, in a tent at 331,128,604, needs help recovering some research equipment at the lake. Crates are scattered around the ruins, around 419,111,414. Some crates are booby trapped, and will explode with lots of damage. The area is crawling with groups of warnets, whose electric attacks take your armor down quickly. Your best weapon here is a nice physical shotgun, and a repair tool. Once you find a crate with the research equipment, return to Info Spec Nye, and claim your reward of 2700 credits, and choice of Prodigy Mech Armor Legs, Vextronics Electric Chaingun, or Voltrox Motor Assist Armor Helmet.

Secure the Camp

This mission requires completion of Recover Equipment, which begins with Info Spec. Nye at 331,128,604. Info Spec Nye knows you won't like it, but he needs you to clear a path to the overrun Research HQ. You're going to need to destroy several warnet nests to slow the spawn rate of warnets, and retrieve the lost research data. Head northwest around 507,138, 766 and take out the nests up in the trees. It's safer to use a rifle or Lightning to shoot the nests from a distance, and avoid the swarms of warnets. The crate with the Corman Research Data Pack is against the mountain at 644,147,829. Return to a grateful Info Spec Nye, who rewards you with 2700 credits, and choice of Vextronics Pulse RPG Launcher, Vitalius Leech Gun, or Voltrox Motor Assist Armor Boots.

Escort to the Research Site

This mission requires completion of Secure the Camp, which begins with Info Spec Nye at 331,128,604. Info Spec Nye now needs you to escort a group of scientists to the Warnet Caverns entrance. This involves a dangerous run through the warnets, again. Rather than trying to fight everything along the way, let the scientists follow you in a mad dash through the groups of warnets. The cavern entrance is northwest at 744,136,738. Info Spec Headly is waiting there to reward you with 3600 credits, and choice of ChiTech Sonic Cannon, Vextronics Virulent Injector Gun, or Vextronics Rifle.

Proven Commitment

This mission requires completion of Emergency Extraction, which begins with Scientist Ramirez at 342,129,611; and Escort to the Research Site, which begins with Info Spec Nye at 331,128,604. Present yourself to Watchman Hillenmeyer at 324,128,604. He thanks you for your help, and presents you with the coveted token that proves you are committed to the fight against the Bane.

Jump on the waypoint pad to Walk of Giants, and take the token to Warden Brocail at the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch at -705,186,51. He gives you permission to speak to Warden Tyne, just behind him, for entrance to the Temple of the Bowed Patriarch. You also have a reward of 1800 credits, and choice of Class 3 Basic Med Pack, Class 3 EMP Grenade, or Class 3 Advanced Med Pack.
