The Druid class in Hearthstone is a class that is a hybrid, just as it is in World of Warcraft. While it is capable of great offensive attacks, it also has solid defensive abilities, and can heal as well. Since it is able to do a bit of everything, you would expect that each ability has compromises, but that really isn't the case. |
In addition to the beast minions themselves, many of the spells in the Hunter deck focus on helping out the various beasts through buffs to their attacks. Also beyond traps as a method of control, Hunters also have access to various direct damage cards that help thin out the enemies attacking and defending minions. |

The Mage class in Hearthstone is a class that is one of the more direct ones in the game. By direct I mean in your face. While mages do have some tricky and sneaky cards that can turn your own cards and minions against you, more than anything else they are about direct damage. They can hit and remove just about any other card in the game with a single ability. |
A Paladin in Hearthstone functions in much the same way as the class does in World of Warcraft, by using AOE, healing, and defence. The class has several different cards that focus on each of those key abilities. Paladins are also one of only three class that can make use of Secret cards (the other two classes being Mages and Hunters). |

The Priest class in Hearthstone is a class that is one of the more sneaky or subtle ones in the game. While it has direct attacks and minions, it also has subtle tricky elements. It can control enemy minions, copy enemy cards, copy enemy minions, and draw numerous extra cards. For Magic players coming to Hearthstone, the Priest deck is the closest to a Blue control deck that you will find. |
The rogue class in Hearthstone is one that is both very direct, but also very sneaky. It is direct in that it wants to deal damage to you quickly and straight ahead. It is sneaky in that it wasn't to use combo effects to maximize its power. Combo effects are currently only available to the Rogue class and are cards that do extra things if you use them after you have already used another card that turn. |

The Shaman class in Hearthstone is a class just like it is in World of Warcraft, a bit of a hybrid. It is capable of attacking with physical or magical attacks. The shaman is even a bit of a burst class, being able to put out huge amounts of damage very quickly. There are many ways you can chose to play the Shaman, and all of them work out well. |
The Warlock class in Hearthstone is a class that focuses on a few key elements. Those elements are the use of Demons as their minion of choice, direct and area damage spells, as well as many abilities that are better than their mana cost but require you to discard a card or cards at random. |

The Warrior class in Hearthstone is a class that focuses on both aggression and defense. Many Warrior minions and spells provide direct damage in addition to their base ability, that covers the aggression part. Warriors also have the ability to gain armor in several ways, that covers of defence by essentially giving them extra health. |
