Getting
Started with the Oracles and Frenzyheart

The Oracles are a murloc-like
gorloc tribe that inhabits Sholazar
Basin. They feel they are guardians of the titan technology that
remains in the Basin. The Oracles are part of an ever escalating
territorial war with the Frenzyheart Tribe. The Frenzyheart Tribe are
fierce wolvar who were driven from their lands by the Scourge. Once
they came across Sholazar Basin they decided to make it their home.
Their aggressive nature is the reason for the war with the Oracles.

Starting with the quest style="font-style: italic;">Playing Along,
which is given by Tracker Gekgek after you have killed Pitch, you will
begin a chain of quests that will first acquaint you with the
Frenzyheart Tribe and then with the Oracles. This has no actual bearing
on your ultimate choice of faction so don’t panic. Just
continue to do the quests until you reach style="font-style: italic;">A Hero's Burden.

A Hero's Burden

Upon completion style="font-style: italic;">A Hero's Burden
will allow you to begin your
journey towards real reputation gain with either the Oracles or the
Frenzyhearts . The quest is given by Moodle and requires the player to
kill Artruis the Heartless. Artruis is a level 77 elite lich, located
in the Sundered Shard which is east of the Lifeblood Pillar. While
Artruis is very powerful he may be killed solo by some classes, but it
is always smart to bring some help along just in case.

Once engaged, killing Artruis
comes in three phases. In phase one
Artruis will position himself at the back of the cave with a wolvar,
Zepik the Gorloc Hunter, and a gorloc, Jaloot on either side of him. He
will cast Frost Bolt, Frost Nova, Ice Lance, and even engage in melee
in his attempts to kill you

style="width: 600px; height: 189px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/76780">

In Phase Two Artruis will
encase himself in ice and will turn Zepik and
Jaloot against you. This is the crucial point in the fight. Killing one
of the NPCs allows you to align with the other faction after
the fight. So if you want to ally with the Oracles, you would need to
kill Zepik, however if you choose to ally with the Frenzyheart Tribe
you will need to kill Jaloot.

Once either Zepik or Jaloot is
killed, Artruis will reactivate,
starting Phase Three. Phase Three is much like Phase One except the NPC
that you left alive will now help you complete the battle. Once
defeated you will be offered a either the quest style="font-style: italic;">Frenzyheart Champion
from Zepik or style="font-style: italic;">Hand of the Oracles
from Jaloot allowing you to become aligned with that faction.

Changing Factions

If at any time you feel you
have made a mistake in your choice, or you
have simply reached exalted and are ready to change from one faction to
the other all you need to do is go back and kill Artruis. This time
though you will want to kill the opposite NPC than you did the first
time. Keep in mind that once you switch factions all reputation gains
will be lost permanently. Also any items you purchased from the
opposite faction that required a certain amount of reputation (Revered,
Exalted) will no longer be useable. You may only switch between the two
factions once a day.

Frenzyheart Champion

Completing the quest
Frenzyheart Champion will make you honored with
the Frenzyheart Tribe and hated with the Oracles. It will also open up
several daily quests that will be your way to continue to gain
reputation with the Frenzyheart Tribe. The dailies are offered by Elder
Harkek, Rejek, and Vekgar at Frenzyheart Hill. Three daily quests
amounting to a total of around 1700 reputation, are offered each day.
The daily quests may vary from day to day. Below is a list and short
explanation of all the daily quests available.

style="width: 600px; height: 400px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/76777">

Kartak’s
Rampage

Given by Vekgar this quest requires you to bring a sample of Oracle
Blood to the Alter of Kartak (Letter A on the map) to summon Kartak the
Abomination. Once you do this it is requested that you use
Kartak’s shared powers and kill 50 of the nearby Sparktouched
Gorlocs (Letter B on the map). The Blood drops off of just about any
Oracle, however you can get a head start by heading over to
Sparktouched Haven and killing one of the quest mobs for the Blood.
Return to Kartak’s Hold to turn in the Blood. The Alter that
you are looking for is right next to Shaman Jakkjek in almost the very
back of the camp. Summon Kartak and slaughter yourself some Oracles!
Gives 700 reputation.

Tools
of War

Given by Vekgar you are required to retrieve some of Zepik’s
traps from his stash in Kartak’s Hold (Letter A on the map)
Using the traps you are then to kill 50 of the nearby Sparktouched
Gorlocs (Letter B on the map). The traps can be found southwest of the
Mosslight Pillar, near the edge of the zone. The box with the traps can
be found in a box between two cases on the western rise of the southern
“house” shown on the world map. The Gorlocs needed
for the quest can then be found directly west of the Mosslight Pillar.
The most efficient way to use the traps is to pull between 6-10 mobs,
use the Vine trap, use the Volatile trap, move back slightly and then
use the Spike Bomb. If the traps are too confusing the Gorlocs can also
be killed the old fashioned way. Gives 700 reputation.

Secret
Strength of the Frenzyheart

This quests asks you to obtain Thunderbrew’s Hard Ale and
combine it with Wolvar Berries that Vekgar provides to make a secret
Frenzyheart drink. After you make the drink you are to kill 30
Sparktouched Gorlocs. To obtain the ale you will need to travel to
Nesingwary’s Base Camp and speak to Grimbooze Thunderbrew
(letter C on the map). He will simply give you the Ale. Go to
Kartak’s Hold (Letter A on the map) which can be found west
of the Mosslight Pillar and right click the berries that will be in
your inventory. Drink the newly created Ale to receive it’s
buff and then proceed to kill every Gorloc in sight until the quest is
completed. Gives 700 reputation.

A
Hero’s Headgear

This quest requires you to get Venture Co. Explosives from any of the
Venture company untils at Swindlegrin’s Dig (letter D on the
map) and then use them to obtain a Stormwater’s Head. The
Venture company mobs you seek are located slightly north east of
Nesingwary’s Base Camp. Once the explosives are gained fly
west to the Maker’s Perch (Letter E on the map) to find a
Stormwatcher. Kill it, and then use the explosives on the corpse. Gives
500 reputation.

Chicken
Party!

Elder Harkek asks you to capture 12 Chicken Escapee’s that
are running loose throughout the camp (letter F on the map). Simply
take your chicken net, chase the chickens down (easier on a mount) use
the net on them and then click on the chickens to pick them up. A very
easy and fun quest. Gives 500 reputation

Rejek:
First Blood

Rejek asks you to use his blade in the corpses of a Sapphire Hive Wasp
(letter G on the map), a Hardknuckle Charger (letter H on the map), and
3 Mistwhisper members (letter I on the map).  Hive Wasps can
be found south of Frenzyheart Hill, Hardknuckle Chargers can be found
just east of Frenzyheart Hill, and Mistwhisper members can be found
near the Glimmering Pillar. Don’t forget to use
Rejek’s blade on the corpses! Gives 500 reputation.

Strength
of the Tempest

Rejek asks you to gather 3 Essences of Monsoon and 3 Essences of the
Storm (letter J on the map) and then take them to the Shrine of the
Tempest (letter K on the map). The elementals that give these Essences
are located on Stormwright’s Shelf which is far to the
northwest behind the Maker‘s Perch, and can only be reached
via flying mount. Once there kill the Storm Revenants and Aqueous
Spirits until you have 3 of each Essence. You should be able to see the
Shrine, it’s a small tower that is down an unmarked path.
Once there stand next to it and the rest will be done for you. Gives
500 reputation.

The
Heartblood’s Strength

Rejek asks you to bring a vial of Suntouched Heartblood back to him. He
will provide you with the required vial but you will need to search out
the blood by killing a Goretalon Matriarch. The Matriarch can be found
on the north edge of the Basin north of the Bone fields (letter L on
the map). Once you have the blood go to Suntouched Pillar (letter M on
the map) and collect the water there. Combine both the items and you
will gain the Suntouched Heartblood. Gives 500 reputation.

style="font-weight: bold;">Frenzyheart Rewards

The Disgusting Jar is probably the most sought after item that the
Frenzyheart’s offer as it can yield a costume that will
transform your character into a Wolvar for 10 minutes. There are other
awards that may be of interest that the Frenzyheart’s offer
those who have taken the time to earn their friendship which are listed

exalted reputation with the Frenzyheart Tribe
  • style="font-style: italic;">Mercenary

    Oracles.

style="text-align: left; font-weight: normal;">Hand

the Oracles after killing Zepik will shoot
you to Honored with the Oracles, and hated with the Frenzyheart Tribe.
Upon returning to Rainspeaker Canopy, the home of the Oracles, you will
find that you will now have access to daily quests which will help
further your reputation with the Oracles. These quests will be the only
way to gain further reputation. Three daily quests will be offered
awarding around 1700 reputation. The daily quests can vary from day to
day and are listed below:

style="width: 600px; height: 397px;" alt=""
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/76782">

Mystery
of the Crystals

Oracle Shoo-dow asks you
to retrieve the crystal defenses at
Sparktouched Haven (letter A on the map) and use them to kill 50 of the
nearby Frenzyheart wolvar (letter B on the map).. The chest with the
defenses inside can be found inside the Oracle Village right next to
the Mosslight Pillar. The best place to complete the killing part of
the quest is to go to Frenzyheart Hill which is apparent on your world
map, and put down your crystals near the largest group of wolvar you
can find. Keep in mind that you will need to do a little damage to each
of the wolvar or they will not count towards your total. AoE spells are
great here. Gives 700 reputation.

Will
of the Titans

Given by Oracle Soo-dow this quests requires you to obtain a Tainted
Crystal from the wolvar near Sparktouched Haven (letter B on the map).
Sparktouched Haven is southwest of Rainspeaker canopy and just to the
west of the Mosslight Pillar. Kill Frenzyhearts till a Tainted Crystal
drops. Once you have the Crystal take it to the Great Lightning Stone
which is located near the Mosslight Pillar in the Oracle Village
(letter A on the map). This will transform you into Soo-holu, a Spirit
Beast. Then head off to Frenzyheart Hill (letter C on the map) and kill
the unsuspecting wolvar until the quest is complete. If you do not
enjoy using the Spirit Beast form you can also complete the quest
without it. Gives 700 reputation.

style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">

Power
of the Great Ones

Oracle Soo-dow requests that you charge the Dormant Polished Crystal at
the exposed Lifeblood Pillar (letter D on the map). Once this is done
you are to travel to Sparktouched Haven (letter A on the map) and use
the power of the crystal to kill 30 Frenzyheart wolvar. Simply take the
Crystal to the top of Lifeblood Pillar, and charge it. Once charged go
to the southwest corner of the Basin and begin to kill the Frenzyhearts
there. The buff the Crystal gives heals and also gives you extra
damage. Gives 700 reputation.

style="font-weight: bold;">Appeasing
the Great Rain Stone

High-Oracle Soo-say wants you to take a companion to dig up and collect
6 Shiny Treasures (letter E on the map). Soo-say will provide a gorloc
buddy that will follow you around to help unearth the treasures. Search
for the glints of light sparkling just above the ground, and move close
to them. Your gorloc will then begin to dig, however he will not always
find Treasure. He may also dig up Glinting Bugs, or a Sparkling Hare.
If you kill the Hare you will receive a minute-long run speed buff
Blessing of the Sparkling Hare. Keep digging until you have collected
enough Treasures.  Gives 500 reputation.

A
Cleansing Song

Oracle Soo-nee requires you to play the Cleansing Chime at Bittertide
Lake (letter F on the map), Wintergrasp River (letter G on the map),
and River’s Heart (letter H on the map) and slay the evil
spirits that plague the waters there. Bittertide Lake is located west
of the Glimmering Pillar, River’s Heart is located in the
middle of the zone, and Wintergrasp River is just south of the Skyreach
Pillar. Go to each location, play the Cleansing Chime to force the evil
spirit to spawn. Kill each enemy to complete the quest. Gives 500
reputation.

Song
of Fecundity

Oracle Soo-nee asks you to go to Stormwright’s Shelf (letter
I on the map) and play the Horn of Fecundity near 8 piles of Soaked
Fertile Dirt. Stormwright’s Shelf is located just northwest
of Maker’s Perch. Simply use the horn on the very obvious
piles of dirt scattered around this location. This quest requires you
to have a flying mount and for those wishing to learn new words,
Fecundity means fertility. Gives 500 reputation.

Song
of Reflection

Oracle Soo-nee wants you to use the Didgeridoo of Contemplation at the
top of the Glimmering Pillar (letter J on the map), the Suntouched
Pillar (letter K on the map), the Mosslight Pillar (letter L on the
map), and the Skyreach Pillar (letter M on the map). Easier if you have
a flying mount, make your way to the tops of each pillar and use the
Didgeridoo of Contemplation near the crystals in the center. You may
need to take out the mobs that are on top of the pillar but overall
there is very little to no fighting involved. The pillars are hard to
miss, and very obviously marked if you have your world map filled out.
Once again for those of us who seek information a Didgeridoo is a wind
instrument that was developed by Indigenous Australians at least 1,500
years ago and is still in widespread usage today. Gives 500 reputation.

Song
of Wind and Water

Oracle Soo-nee wants you to use the Tempest Drums at
Stormwright’s Shelf (letter I on the map) and help Haiphoon
devour 3 Storm Revenants and 3 Aqueous Spirits. Stormwright’s
Shelf can be found between the Maker’s Perch and the North
Sea. Once you arrive use the Drums of the Tempest to transform yourself
into Haiphoon. To start you will be in his water form so go after a
Storm Revenant. In this form you will have a Water Bolt as your primary
attack and Frost Nova to hold the Storm Revenant in place. Once
it’s low on health use your Devour Wind ability. This will
kill the Revenant and transform you into Haiphoon’s Air
Elemental phase. In this form you will need to go after the Aqueous
Spirits. Alternate between Lightning Bolt which is your primary damage
spell in this form, and Windshear which has a knock back. Once the
Spirit is low on health use your Devour Water ability to once again
transform yourself into Haiphoon’s water form.
Alternate between the two forms until you complete the quest. Gives 500
reputation.

style="font-weight: normal; text-align: left;">Oracle
Rewards

While the Oracles have many nice rewards to offer those that befriend
them, the most coveted by far is the Mysterious Egg. This Egg can hatch
into four different non-combat pets including: a Cobra Hatchling, a
Proto-Drake Whelp, a Tickbird Hatchling, and a White Tickbird
Hatchling. Even if you are not a pet person, this egg also can hatch
into the much sought after, and very rare Green Photo-Drake Mount. The
egg costs 3 gold and and takes 7 days to hatch. Other items purchasable
from Geen the Quartermaster are.
