As you may or may not know, Warlords of Dreanor will offer up a legendary to players. Instead of a cloak, as we saw in Mists of Pandaria, the legendary in this expansion will be a extraordinary ring. Of course, the ring won't just be handed to you. It is a legendary after all.

Much like the Wrathion cloak quest line, players will start with a less potent ring. To get the legendary, you must progress through a quest line that will eventually lead you to the legendary version. With that being said, you won't have to do much to actually get the first version of the ring. In fact, it is very well handed to you before you even reach level 100.

Obtaining Your First Ring

If you are like me, you can't wait to get your legendary ring. Before you can get to that beautiful orange color you will start out with something a bit more...purple. As with all good things, this legendary quest line begins at your Garrison once you have reached level 98. When you ding this level simply head back to your Garrison and seek out Khadgar's Servant who will be aimlessly wandering about your crib on a never ending tour. If you can't seem to find him simply look for the orange legendary quest mark that will be floating above his head.

The quest from Khadgar's Servant is called Call of the Archmage. This quest will send you to Zangarra which is in the north east section of Talador. Once there, take the portal found near the flight path to transport yourself to Khadgar's Tower. Inside you will find the venerable Khadgar himself, but you won't be getting your first ring just yet.

Khadgar will send you on the quest Spires of the Betrayer. This is a simple quest that requires you to kill the final boss, High Sage Viryx, of the Skyreach dungeon on normal mode. Make sure you loot him after he is killed to obtain the Pure Solium Band he is carrying. Take the band back to Khadgar who will give you a short speech and hand over your first ring on this legendary quest line! Remember, even though this quest chain starts at level 98, you must be level 100 to equip your ring!

First rings are ilvl 640 and include:

• Solium Band of Might
• Solium Band of Wisdom
• Solium Band of Dexterity
• Solium Band of Endurance
• Solium Band of Mending

Replacing Your Ring

Accidentally delete your ring? Want to get a version for your off spec? No worries! Replacements and other versions of your current ring can be purchased from Zooti Fizzlefury. Zooti is a wonderful little gnome that can be found just outside Khadgar's Tower. Rings can be purchased with just a small donation of gold and from what we can tell will automatically reflect the upgrades you have made through the quest line.
