Now it's time to go to the volcano. Follow the road
south and you'll get there. There may be some baddies along the way.
Once you're inside, prepare for quite a bit of fighting. The goal is to
get to Shenti-Aku. Now in some cases it is possible to sneak and hide
all the way to him, but chances are slim of survival as a priest.
Follow the trail the map to the left indicates, and you'll eventually
get to Shenti-Aku. If you find yourself
style="font-style: italic;">Slaves will attack
dying a lot, don't worry. You
won't be suffering any severe death penalties at these levels, aside
from having to keep running back. The creatures in this area don't
respawn though, so once you kill them, it will be all that much easier
to run around in here. If need be, you can break groups of baddies by
focussing on one and
making sure he dies before you die. Then when you go back, you'll have
one less to deal with.
Once you've fought your way up, you'll see Shenti-Aku. Don't run up
and hail him right away. Walk up to him and stand beside him for a few
seconds. You'll see some non-aggro slaves walk towards you. Once they
get close, they'll attack you. It's best to dispatch them before you
speak to Shenti-Aku.
When you speak with Shenti-Aku, he'll tell you that he serves
Mithrelle, and he'll get a little testy that you've killed his cronies.
At this point you can either kill him or let him be, choosing your
preference through the dialog options.
