A big thanks to Ten Ton Hammer community member, Garnith, who sent us screenshots of the Old Kheliumlink armor. Just because it's old doesn't mean it can't save your hide!

  • He's probably upset over his gambling debts. Giants are notorious for gambling.

We've got a couple of giant additions to the Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer Monster Project. Those heavy footfalls you hear are the approaching strides of Jagund the Wavebreaker and Torkald Who Mourns. While we try to figure out how Jagund breaks waves, and why Torkald is so bummed, you can check out screenshot images and stats on these two giants who roam the Thestran landscape.

  • A GM PM'd me while I was LFM about the thing I WTS because he thought our 1337 MT may have duped it.

Words, words, and more words. Gaming terms and terminologies can confuse newcomers and veterans of MMOs alike. Gamers have created a new language of sorts and it takes some learning to figure out what they are talking about sometimes. This week Martuk takes a look at these terms and offers an explanation into the meaning of them. If you are confused by words you hear in-game this should be of great use to you.

  • Stop by the Green Dragon for a pint, too.

This guide takes a look at the areas around the Shire to help familiarize a new young hobbit with his locations. Complete with a handy little map.

One of the most well designed starter areas in Lord of the Rings Online is the Shire. When you walk through the Shire there is a sense of living through what Tolkien described in his books. The developers took great care in capturing its essence. The look, feel, and content needed to make this an engaging and interesting area is all there.

  • This is how dragons mark their territory.

Dragonmarks are unique to Eberron, and with their recent
addition to DDO, might pose a problem for new players... should one take
    dragonmark feats or not?

"However, when used with certain builds, which capitalize with
a dragonmark's abilities, dragonmarks can make a build much more powerful."

In this part of the guide we return to the jungles of Stranglethorn
Vale. As with our first visit to the jungle, be extremely careful in
this zone if you are on a PvP server. Also similar to the first trip to
the zone, we are going to adventure almost exclusively in the top 1/3rd
of the zone. Although we will head down to the city of Booty Bay at the
southern tip to get the flight point and a few quests.
