ArenaNet’s ambitious plans for Guild Wars 2 (GW2) content just keep getting bigger. Earlier this year ArenaNet stepped up their content production for GW2 to a two-week cadence and according Colin Johanson, that’s not about to slow down anytime soon. With the Living World team’s transition from one team to four, ArenaNet has plans for a heap of content throughout the rest of the year.

“Our Living World releases will expand on the promise of what it means to be a continually growing game,” Johanson wrote. In the future, you’ll see a wider array of content and experiences in each release, with a greater focus on permanently expanding content. We’ll go into specifics on the variety of playable content you’ll be receiving as each update approaches, but some of our focuses will include improving our existing world bosses, continuing to update and refine our dungeons and fractals, creating world events with a larger and more permanent impact, and expanding the number of dynamic events across the world.”

Just a few things that players can expect going forward is the return of some favorite holiday festivals and super adventures, further progression with new skills and traits, new Champion Rewards, dungeon completion rewards, a boost in the crafting skill to 500, account-based Magic Find, Legendary Gear and Precursors, and much more. Read the full list of planned content in Johanson’s latest post.
