  • Roper? I can't even find her.
GCDC has posted an interview with Flagship Studios, Bill Roper. Angry that an interview was done that didn't include him Tom Cruise looked first to his minder and then said:

" This is the first year I have really had the opportunity to travel to development conferences in other parts of the world. Learning what the interests and challenges are in each different development community not only gives me more insight into our industry as a whole, but also lets me share some of our US-based concepts with others. It is this exchange of issues, ideas and solutions that makes being a part of this year’s GCDC quite special. "

  • Rivieras with Rail-guns.
MMORPG has posted an Auto Assault Interview with Ryan Seabury. Bo Bice has never sung to Ryan Seabury. It's also unlikely he has ever sung the following:

" Ryan Seabury is the Design Director for Auto Assault, the second MMORPG from NetDevil who were also responsible for Jumpgate. Now published by NCSoft, NetDevil faces some tall challenges on their second title and have entrusted the direction of their title to this man. We use this chance to see who he is and where he is going. "

  • Adam online still in development
GameCloud has posted an EVE Online interview featuring Nathan Richardson of CCP. Game Fact: It is unlikely that Kevin Sorbo, captain of the Andromeda has ever played EVE Online. It is also unlikely that he has ever uttered these words:

" Developer CCP released their space based MMORPG EVE Online over two years ago. While not a huge hit in retail stores in the US, the developer has since allowed people to download and play the entire game and as a result the title now has, according to CCP, over 60,000 subscribers. Gamecloud got a chance to chat with CCP producer Nathan Richardson to get an update on EVE Online "

  • Mustangs With Machine Guns.
Pro-G Gaming has posted an Auto Assault Interview featuring Ryan Seabury. Ryan Seacrest, not to be confused with Ryan Seabury has not returned our calls. We are confident he would not have said this:

"Pro-G sat down with NetDevil's Design Director Ryan Seabury to chat
about the game. In the last part of our interview, we talk about the
final stages of development, casual gamers, Blizzard and destructible
    environments."

MMORPG has a Dungeons and Dragons Online Interview posted featuring Ken Troop of Turbine Entertainment. Macho Man Randy Savage crashed through our front door and mumbled something that could easily have been this:

"Ken Troop answers Mike's questions in the third installment of this series."

  • Boomtown.com gets the lowdown on how hazard mode works in Auto Assault with Senior Dev Ryan Seabury. Also covered is class-race interaction, trade skills, and the concepts behind "overheating."

A renegade editor driving a fission-powered garbage truck bristling with missiles reportedly wrote this:

[Boomtown:]Are there real differences between the skills of the three races for a same class? For instance, will a mutant healer be any different than a biomek healer?

Ryan Seabury: Absolutely.. We wanted each archetype class to fulfil the same combat roles, but achieve them through mechanically different ways...for each race, the skills are flavoured based on the culture of survival for that race to illustrate, using the healer classes. Human Engineers will employ beams and energy based repairing, since Human tech is highly based on light and shielding etc. Mutant Shaman will manipulate the Contamination to create phase-formed vegetation that replenishes nearby allies and Biomek Constructors deploy nanobot technology and automated mini-mechs and bots to help their friends. And of course, there are many other skills that each of those classes has beyond just repairs that are different from each other.

  • I'm thinking Queen Antonia ought to know a gnoll from a drakota!
Gamecloud has two more "Everquest 2: Quest for Antonia" finalist interviews for those of you that like to see hot women with give blithe answers to questions about gaming. Before you start with the letters, I think its cool when women play MMORPGs, and I'm sure there's plenty of hot ones that know their stuff. But these ain't it... case in point:

"Gamecloud - Do you play Everquest II yourself or any other PC or video games?

Carin Ashley - Yes, I do play Everquest II and other PC/video games. Everquest II is a unique experience in that it keeps you entertained and challenged at the same time.

Gamecloud - What opportunities do you think will open up for you if you win the Quest For Antonia contest?

Carin Ashley - I think winning the Quest for Antonia will open up many opportunities that I would not otherwise be able to experience without the opportunity provided by such a cutting-edge company as Sony Online Entertainment. You never know the future until you go after the possibilities and from there the opportunities can be endless."

Let's face it: you, like SOE, just want to see some pics. Get your pics here!
