TOWNS AND QUEST HUBS
These are the towns, camps and other assorted places where
players can pick up quests. Level range describes the optimum level
range for XP gain. Important NPCs are those who bestow quest chains or
are crucial to the epic storyline, with position coordinates listed if
located outside the main hub. Description is a broad guideline of what
to expect from each quest hub without going into too specific of detail.

The
Forsaken Inn: Where Good Times Go To Die.
THE FORSAKEN INN
Level Range: 18 - 22
Important NPCs: Techeryn,
Constable Bram Ashleaf, Belinda Rosewater, Falster the Fox, Gadaric
Munce, Lieva Dourlily, Anlaf the Forlorn, Candac Brightwood
Town Services:
- Tavern Keep
- Armour & Weaponsmiths
- Mailbox
- Milestone
- Stable-master (South Bree, Ost Guruth)
Description: Your introduction to
the Lone-lands, this ramshackle ruin of a tavern is brimming with dour,
grumpy patrons. Most quests here involve heading into Minas Eriol and
the Weather Hills. There are repeatable bounty quests here for Eglain
rep. These quests go pretty quick, especially with a group.

These
fellows were likely concerned about the structural integrity of the
Forsaken Inn and decided it would be safer to set up camp right next to
goblins.
EGLAIN CAMP
Level Range: 20 - 24
Important NPCs: Old Mugwort,
Hunulf Munce, Deputy Osmann
Town Services: None
Description: Most of these quests have
Eglain reputation rewards, and involve taking on the tougher mobs in
Minas Eriol and moving on into Nain Enidh.

That
tower in front was almost certainly totally badass before it fell over.
OST GURUTH
Level Range: 20 - 32
Important NPCs: Frideric the
Elder, Stanric, Tortwil, Trumswith, Grimdeal, Hana the Young,
Radagast the Brown
Town Services:
- Healer
- Mailbox
- Milestone
- Bard
- Armour & Weaponsmiths
- Standard crafting facilities with Expert vendors
- Campfires
- Farm land with Expert Farmhand
- Supplier
- Provisioner
- Reflecting Pool
- Stable-master (Forsaken Inn, Thorenhad, Rivendell, South
Bree, Candaith's Encampment) - Skirmish camp
- Eglain Reputation Vendor
Description: Mostly quests for
Nain Enidh and Talath Gaun. Frideric the Elder is your go-to guy - he
seems to be the man in charge of the town. You would think the Istari
wizard, Radagast the Brown, would be the top man here, but he is far
more concerned with bunnies and birds these days. After the events of
Volume I Book 2, he moves out of the tower here and into Barad Dhorn.

Cruel
irony: the most vivid, lively-looking thing here is a ghost.
BARAD DHORN
Level Range: 29 - 33
Important NPCs: Eriac the Strong,
Elsa the Bold, Dannasen, Radagast the Brown
Town Services: None
Description: Quests for Agamaur
and Garth Agarwen can be found here. After completing Volume I Book 2,
Radagast the Brown can be found inside the keep here.
alt="Ost Haer"
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/94769">
The
dead guy wants you to go kill some other dead guys.
OST HAER
Level Range: 28 - 30
Important NPCs: Aric the
Stone-speaker, Narthan, Emelin, Glaednoth
Town Services:
- Campfire
Description: A handful of quests
here for the Harloeg area, including some repeatable reputation quests
for the Eglain. Most involve killing wights and such in the ruins to
the east.
alt="Tornstones"
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/94770">
Tornstones,
it's the Tornstones, they're a modern Earth-kin fam-mi-lyyyy...
DOL VAEG, TORNSTONES
Level Range: 28 - 31
Important NPCs: Northrim,
Cwendreda, Kekkonen
Town Services:
- Traveling Vendor (Dol Vaeg)
Description: A couple of people
on a hilltop keeping a watchful eye in the wight infestation in Nan
Delhu. They would like your help in preventing the situation from
getting out of hand, and in keeping the eastern Lone-lands free of
pests. Tornstones is an Earth-kin camp across the road from Ost Guruth,
where the freaky giant-types are having difficulties with the trolls in
Harloeg.
alt="Candaith's encampment"
src="http://www.tentonhammer.com/image/view/94771">
Candaith
knows that he is inconveniently located for someone who plays such a
major role in the epic storyline. He's not happy about it either.
MISCELLANEOUS
Level Range: varies
Important NPCs:
Candaith (30.1S, 37.9W), Refr Quicksliver (32.8S, 33.0W), Pengail
(32.0S, 38.5W), Leofwenna (35.2S, 38.3W)
Town Services:
- Stable-master (Candaith - Forsaken Inn, Esteldin)
- Heavy Armoursmith (Refr Quicksilver)
Description: Candaith, the ranger
of the Grey Company, is looking to take out a few of the more dangerous
orcs in the area. Refr Quicksilver has some jobs in Iorvinas and
Mithrenost that
need taken care of. Pengail has been captured by goblins and needs
your help to escape - while he claims to be useless without his sword,
he is equally useless with it, so proceed with caution. Leofwenna is in
a similar predicament, surrounded by goblins with few options for
retreat.
