Level range indicates optimum level range to gain XP from
kills - the median level range of the dominant mobs, plus/minus 2
levels. Resources indicates crafting materials available from nodes and
from hide-bearing creatures in the area - humanoid mobs may drop other
types of items. Mobs indicates the dominant creature types that can be
found in the area, with links to their relevant slayer deeds where
appropriate. Landmarks include named points of interest and deed
locations, with links to relevant deeds.

Description: The entryway to the
North Downs from the south, the Greenway has been plagued by recent orc
incursions. The area is sandwiched uncomfortably between Fornost in the
northwest and Nan Wathren in the southeast - verily, between a rock and
a hard place. Trestlebridge, at the southern tip of this region, shows
the most obvious signs of this precarious position, with many of its
buildings razed and burned by ravaging orcs.

goblins and their assorted pets. The mobs in the eastern section are
higher level than their western counterparts, and the orcs guarding the
pass into Higropor in the south are level 35 elites. The Black Fire
quest chain, started in Trestlebridge, eventually takes the player to 3
camps patrolled by elites and requiring finding 3 unmarked camps. The
first bridge is located at 16.2S, 47.9W behind a siege tower. Cross
that, hang a right for the first camp (16.5S, 46.9W). Cross the bridge
right near that spot and hang another right for the second camp (17.0S,
46.7W). Backtrack to the first camp and head west to the next bridge
(16.5S, 47.3W) which angles southwest. The last camp is just over the
hill ahead to the right (16.7S, 48.2W).

Description: Prime grazing land
for herds of
aurochs, primeval cattle raised for their hides and meat. There are a
number of farms here, which naturally infuriates the local orc
population, spurring periodic raids on the resident farmers and
herdsmen. The northern fringes are rather too rocky for grazing land,
and are populated mainly by mountain-dwelling critters (wildcats and
raptors). Wargs roam the rolling hills, preying on grazing aurochs, and
spiders stalk the grasslands and valleys in the east. The Ranger-run
settlement of Esteldin lies hidden within the mountains in the east,
tucked within the ruins of an ancient Arthedain fort.

this swamp are patrolled by orcs, and trolls dominate Taur Gonwaith in
the east. Elves have established a small community, Lin Giliath, in the

public dungeon filled with trolls - a sadly underused space with very
few associated quests, but definitely worth checking out.

call this region home. The Hillmen around Ost Crithlanc are
higher-level than most of the other mobs in this area, so approach with
caution. The passage to Ram Duath leading through Lehma-Koti (an
Earth-kin camp) is the most direct passage to Angmar in the north, and
the southern end of the region butts up against Dol Dinen, a major orc
