New LOTRO Screenshots Highlight Soldier on Landscape Feature

Posted Wed, Mar 07, 2012 by Martuk

Update 6: Shores of the Great River will bring a lot of interesting new content and changes to The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO). One of those changes will be the ability to summon your soldiers on the upper landscapes of Middle-earth, which previously were only usable in skirmish instances.

This week Turbine rolled out a fresh batch of LOTRO screenshots that shows off a less-restricted version of the soldier companions that will now fight alongside players across the landscapes of Middle-earth. Check them out after the break.

Hope you have more control over the soldier then now. The stupid soldier runs way ahead of you and attacks everything and then die, and the mobs come in waves to you.

LotRO's new class comes late to the party, but it is certainly an interesting choice.
